not being biased...just being honest...I think he would Rattle Donaire with Body Shots...Rigondeaux style is going to be extremely difficult to beat and I think he would look even more impressive against a fighter that comes forward because he is a excellent counter puncher

but those accurate body shots...I don't give a damn who you are those punches can suck the wind out of you...LITERALLY and 10 Second is not enough time to catch your breath after a good body shot

I can't say. I haven't seen all of Nonito's fights. Guillermo is special; I wouldn't doubt that Rigo is better than anyone Donaire has ever faced. However, I've seen enough of both fighters to conclude that Nonito currently has the edge over Rigondeaux. That can, and hopefully will, change. I have high hopes for "El Chacal", he has wonderful potential, but I'm not ready to predict the second coming of "Sugar" Ray Robinson just yet.

I dont know. We might actually get this one. Both are under TOP RANK and we know how he loves to keep things in house. Hopefully he doesnt play that same card he played with JUANMA & GAMBOA and kept dragging & delaying it saying "we need to build it up". Hopefully its not the case here and he makes it happen soon.

A good body shot is almost impossible to recover from.

Let's not forget, however, that Nonito brings his own set of charms to the ring. He's fast, athletic and powerful. Far more so than Ricardo Cordoba. I wasn't thrilled with the way that Rigo reacted after that little love tap he took from "Maestrito." (You know, the one that made him get on his bike for the second half of their fight?) A shot like that from Nonito and it might easily be lights out for our man.

In my opinion, Guillermo needs a little more seasoning at the pro level before taking on Donaire. I agree that he poses a definite threat to Nonito even now, but there's no need to rush into a test.

This would be a very good fight but i see either rigos defense becoming a factor or nonitos power

i like to see this fight but i don't think it would happen this year. it looks like arum has already laid out the fight plan for donaire. if he beats vasquez jr he would fight arce next and then nishioka or vice versa to close out the year.

of course some people would say donaire is ducking rigo but keep in mind, who fighters want to fight is only half of the story. the promoter's approval, which in this case is top rank, will have the final say because they're the ones who will put their money on the line. fighters will just collect their purse after the fight.

There are three viable options for Donaire at 122.... personally though, Arce would just be a money fight and Donaire coming out party to the world. I bet Arum would make a huge affair out of that fight. Nishioka is the current top Dawg (IMO) and Rigo is a tough challenge. I'd be ecstatic if he fought Rigo or Nishioka next (Nishioka should be ready by spring). I'm alright if he fights Arce... anybody else is moot.

I agree with some of these other posters...I think Rigondeaux would FOLD Donaire with a body shot

I like Donaire and Rigondeaux...but I feel Donaire is EXTREMELY OVERRATED by HBO (ESPECIALLY MAX KELLERMAN who wants to have the guy baby lol) and Fans simply because of ONE KNOCKOUT against Fernando Montiel

lets be honest, he did not look good at all in his last fight and people want to blame his opponent...well if he struggled and looked bad against that guy...he would really struggle and look bad against Rigondeaux
