You can't compare the fight at Cowboy Stadium, to a possible fight with Mayweather/Pac, as the latter would be close to sellout.

When Manny was making statements to the Filipino media, reassuring him that he really wanted that fight..... he stated that he would take less money than Mayweather, and he said this..... "making that fight happen is more important than the money".
Now Manny is saying that "we cannot fight on May 5th because we need to build a stadium in order to maximize revenue".
Surely you can see why genuine boxing fans are getting a little upset with the continual bull**** that emanates from Team Pacquiao and the master manipulator Arum?
Surely you realise is that the stadium excuse is not the first one given by Team Pacquiao, it is just the one that they eventually decided to run with.
Surely you can see why ?Comment

Just more excuses from Team Manny no-fight Pacquiao.....
The stadium excuse is not the first one given by Team Pacquiao, it is just the one that they eventually decided to run with.
Manny's on-again off-again cut, remember ?
The investors, remember ?
Mayweather's guarantee, remember ?
In light of the following facts, Pacquiao's excuse is ridiculous.....
FACT: The biggest grossing fight in boxing history was held on May 5th
FACT: The biggest grossing fight in boxing history was held at the MGM Grand
FACT: The biggest grossing fight in boxing history included Floyd Mayweather
FACT: The stadium excuse is just the latest in a long line or excuses
FACT: Manny said this..... "making that fight happen is more important than the money"Comment

So, Team Pacquiao dont want none of Mayweather.
Fair enough, I got no problem with that.
But Manny is an arsehole for continually lying to me, and his fans are ******.Comment

"Great point right there. who would pay a premium price for those tickets ?"
never under estimate human ******ity .. I could see plenty of dummies buying Pacquiao-Bradley or Pacquiao-Peterson tickets
"temporary stadium will be built in a dusty parking lot. It will have bleacher sitting, temporary restrooms and a severe lack of concession stands. Also, those extra seats will be between 50 and a 100 yards from the temporary ring."
^ if all true, seems like a complete waste of time, and if Bob Arum's gonna keep taking advantage of the dumb boxing public .... they need to catch onto this garbage
not fighting Mayweather so they can build a stadium is one of the most garbage excuses I've ever heardComment

Poppa Arum saw Pacroid get exposed against Marquez, so its not a surprise hew wants to make an excuse such a outdoor venue.. I think Arum knows Pacroid wil get smashed by MOney May, so he wants to get one more fight fight Cotto get a nice payday , than go against Money May.. Arum you know ur making excuses .. you know Money May is the best P4P fighter in this decade...Comment

On Wednesday BoxingScene.com conducted an interview with Mayweather Promotions CEO Leonard Ellerbe (The full video interview is available in our video archive). Floyd Mayweather's right hand man touched on a variety of subjects including Bob Arum's recent demands of holding a potential Mayweather-Manny Pacquiao clash towards the end of May so that a temporary outdoor stadium could be constructed to house the event. Arum has speculated that an outdoor arena could bring anywhere from $40 to 60 million dollars in additional revenue. [Click Here To Read More]
This is the most blatant duck I've ever seen and the excuses to not get it done are so over the top that it's funny.Comment

Arum doesn't want the arena for the fighters. I'm sure he knows they won't make much more than they would at MGM. Arum simply wants MGM's profits on the fight. If they built a stadium, Arum would be taking a cut of all concessions/sales and massive venue fees. He thinks all profit deserves to be his profit - which also happens to be how he's handled Pacquiao's career.
I wouldn't pay $100 to sit over 100yds away from this fight... he really expects people to pay $1500? Lies, he's doing this for himself.Comment
