Floyd was against catchweights, now he's okay with it and deep down the *****s are hugging like there's no nuts tomorrow.

        Uh oh. Another Corrales situation.

Where the challenger decided to be ****** and call out Floyd at a certain weight they can't make and end up being drained come fight night.

Martinez was too desperate, the dummy should of atleast said 154.

It would be kind of odd if Ward wanted to fight Dawson at a catchweight of 164, wouldn't it? Again, Floyd. Has. A. Title. At. 154.

No it's not fair. Floyd has preached and criticized Manny's catch weight fights, he should be stick to his guns and fight Martinez at 154 lb. He'd look like a big hypocrite if he doesn't. If Ben Thompson wants to show his unbiased side, he should question Floyd about it.

floyd never re-weighed unofficially for the marquez fight

he refused. people in the know regularly speculate that it's the heaviest he's ever been on the night of a fight
              he certainly looked the part.

i'm also old enough to have kids of my own, and they'd whoop your ass, punk.

i dont even want to talk about what i'd do to you

This is nothing like Mayweather vs Corrales.

Corrales was fighting at SFW at the time he fought Floyd, whether he couldn't make it or not it's not Floyd's problem. Your post would have been much better if Corrales was at 140, and came down to fight Floyd at 130. But that's not what happened.

I don't understand why people don't understand the difference in someone making you come down in weight to someone challenging you to fight at a certain weight. Manny called for and made people come down in weight or no fight, while Sergio challenged Floyd to a fight @ 150. From Floyd's perspective this is not a catch-wt fight this a weight agreement. No one is being made to do anything where in Manny's case he made fighters come down in weight to fight. Two totatlly different scenarios. It's like if Bute challenged Sergio @ 162 and Sergio accepted.

A 150 catchweight is what Martinez specifically offered to Floyd though. Of course he'll take it.

making an offer to get your name out there is one thing

actaully making 150 lbs, when you havnt in almost ten years, a few months after your 37th birthday, is something entirely different.
