Floyd was challenged @ 150, he's not requesting or calling Sergio out he's answering to a challenge. I think it's a fair fight @ 150. Floyd is not trying to move up to 54 so why fight there if not for the challenge.

Yeah, I'm sure Sergio Martinez is petrified of a shot to pieces Taylor and Abraham, who wasn't fought at middleweight in almost 3 years.

Martinez says he's currently walking at 165. In order to not overdrain himself, he'll have to lose 5-4 real pounds and dehydrate 10 to make weight. It's plausable.

Floyd is in a tight situation here.

You got the coward over at Top Rank, not wanting to fight Martinez even at 150, but gets a pass.

You have Floyd willing to fight Martinez at 150, only because Martinez jumped the gun and offered it himself..problem is Floyd has been outspoken about Manny fighting at catchweights.

Then to top it all off, the coward doesn't even want to fight Floyd, the best at 147. So basically Manny wants nothing to do with any one who's regarded as the best, or one of the best.

Bradley is the best at 140, Mayweather is the best at 147, Martinez is the best from 154-160...and Manny Pacquiao wants nothing to do with any of those 3. Unless he fights Bradley.

It's really sad to be a Pac fan right now. Us Floyd fans as you can see, hold Floyd to higher standards and we don't accept such cowardly acts like fighting leftovers who are not at their best anymore, or fighting at catchweights.

While I do agree that Sergio put himself in this ******ed position, i was hoping that Floyd would have the decency to move up to 154 for that fight. So, if he wants Sergio to come down, will he want Cotto and Canelo to do the same? Because if he's gonna do that, then he might as well not fight ANY of them. Guess we'll wait and see.

I believe that he would kill himself for that payday, no question, but I do agree that 150 may well just do that, kill him.

154 all the way imho, and it appears that most agree.

he walks around very heavy and the fight is only in may

i'm going to be shocked if he can get anywhere near that light, but i'm sure he will try

i'm guessing that few lbs below 155 or so will be very tough to shed for a soon to be 37 year old of his size and level of fitness

you're right, though, he's going to be foaming at the mouth for that fight and will do whatever it takes within the realm of reasonability

i'll only believe the fight is actually going to happen when he makes the weight safely, though, that's for sure!

martinez hasnt weighed 150 in almost ten years

Since Floyd has a title at 154, how is 150 even a catchweight for him?

Many are however saying they dont like it at 150 but will still pay for it.

Cmon man everyone should be asking for 154

I hope not. I'm sick of these catch-weight fights. Floyd can make 154, he should just fight him there. Perhaps he just forgot the weight limit for JMW.
