its also safe to say hes ducking pac this time round, as he hasnt made any response since pac offered the late may date.
Arum also indicated he would like Pacquiao to get through the Hatton fight before going up against Mayweather saying“I want Mayweather to stay there (in retirement) until September. The longer he’s out the more rusty he’ll be."

"It's not so much that I give a damn whether this fight happens--I don't -- and for me it's not the greatest experience doing a promotion with Floyd Mayweather," Arum said. "But not to do this fight would slow down the momentum of boxing."

Once again, Arum and Pacquiao have talked out of both sides of their mouths regarding Mayweather and why they won't make the fight with him. It's the 1st round of negotiations all over again. First Pacquio says that he's willing to fight Mayweather and that negotiations for a fight on May 5th were almost complete. After that was exposed to be a lie, we got the litany of excuses from Arum. It's not about nitpicking quotes, it's about being smart enough to see what's really going on. Sadly, I don't think that a lot of you are that bright which is why Arum has been sucessful.
Floyd flip flop his statements all the time..you just refuse to acknowledge it because its Floyd, and not Pac...
If you want to call bull**** on Pac's statement then so be it.. But you have to do the same with Floyd...Last edited by mikemurni; 01-17-2012, 10:30 AM.

I'm aware of Mayweather contradicting himself once and that wasn't a case of him accepting a challenge from Pacquiao only to renig. There is no comparing Mayweather and his team to Pacquiao and his team when it comes to who's more full of it. You even trying to equate Mayweather to Pacquiao in that regard is quite telling. The proof is in the pudding, if Pacquiao doesn't accept the May 5th challenge then he has ducked the fight once again.
And Floyd so called challenge didn't actually have a offer letter in black and white that came with it.. So in other words, he is just blowing smoke to make you think that he actually wants to fight Pac..
So who is looking like more of a dVmbas$ now.. As far as I am concern, I dont believe any of those statement unless there is a real proof that negotiations are actually taking place.. And you are a fool to actually believe otherwise...
