Not to my knowledge he hasn't. I ain't trying to cover and cosign for anyone. The reason the fight ain't happening is because of salty politics and animosity. Pac not pushing Arum to make it is not helping things either. My thing is. I can understand if Arum don't want to make the fight if he doesn't want to do business with Haymon, Golden Boy and Mayweather BUT to continuously say that you want to make the fight and blame it totally on Mayweather side is completely false and ignorant considering Mayweather issued a challenge to Manny Pacquiao on Twitter that made it to every major news and sports publication. Bob Arum is insulting everyone by thinking everybody are idiots and dumb asses.

He says one thing and then we hear the other. He is talking about Floyd being "Plan A" but stated he wrapped a deal up with Pac to fight in June in 30mins? How is Mayweather plan A, when he hasn't budged off of May 5th and is still heading to jail in June as of now? This ain't about being a ******* or a ***** (terms I don't even use) but rather about being a person using his brain and my common sense tells me that Bob Arum don't want to make the fight. I'll bet you 500,000 points that Floyd ain't Pac's next fight. Also, why would May 5th be good for JMM/Pac 4 but not good enough for Floyd considering the date was originally reserved by him prior to going to jail?

How much more promotion does this fight need? Everything Arum said is bull$h!t regarding this fight and you would disregard what he says or had said to blame it all on Mayweather's side when AT LEAST Floyd is issuing a challenge and has a date/venue already picked out? Floyd's table team is Haymon, Ellerbee, and Richie Rich....Mayweather/GBP promotions are like family....so if Arum wants to talk he knows who to talk to....Richie Rich reached out but Arum said they wasn't interested...no way would Richie Rich reach out without Floyd's approval.....so all that ish Arum is talking is just more bs on top of the bs he's been feeding bs eaters.....some of you dudes need to go on a bs diet....real talk!!!...stop eatin that ish!!

The only reason Mayweather worked with GBP is because they had to run the promotion of his fights which were against all GBP fighters. This was since 2008 when he came back from retirement. He fought Marquez(GBP), Mosley(GBP), Ortiz(GBP). He didn't have a promoter to split his earnings with, and I can almost guarantee he didn't pay GBP anything from his side. GBP was probably just happy to be doing the promotion.

Now if he fights Pacquiao, GBP has no role as TR can handle the event, and I bet you the sticking point right now is that he doesn't want to give TR any cut from his side, basically a free ride with the promotion, whereas Pacquiao will be handing TR a percentage as his promoter.

And I can almost guarantee, GBP is out of the picture.

The best way for this fight to get made is if HBO intervene and act as a mediator.. HBO has invested so much on Pac and Floyd, and had made so much money in return.. They have to take the initiative to mediate and accept offer sheet from both camps... Otherwise this back and forth press releases will never end... They did it in the second negotiations, they can do it here again..At least with them mediating, we would know who really is ducking who if it still fails

i recall they did that during the 2nd negotiations and confirmed that it was in fact floyd who was ducking

additionally, it was also confirmed that floyd ducked pac the first time round as well.

its also safe to say hes ducking pac this time round, as he hasnt made any response since pac offered the late may date.

GB can slither their way to the promotion but they have no right to talk to Top Rank unless Floyd says they should, which he hasn't. If Golden Boy wants to talk with Floyd to be in his camp then that's on them, but they have no right to INITIATE negotiations because they dont have a contract with both fighters..

This is the sad and ugly part of the sport. The politics. Now, Manny nor Floyd is afraid of the fight, but Bob is not the fighter, hes the businessman. Hes about what makes the most money, which i understand, as its his job. Thing is though we get left out in the cold. Truth be told, if this was going on all secretly...it wouldn't look so bad, but the fact that both camps have resorted to accusing both sides of being afraid, and acted like children by doing everything via social media, and various media outlets. If im Arum....do i try to maximize my profits? Definitely, but not at the expense of my character. Which Bob has done (or at least created the perception) to say the very least.

End of the day....EVERYONE wants this fight. Both camps want it, but the greed and business aspect is showing its ugly face, and has done nothing but create legions of obsessive *****s, and clueless *******s. From a business standpoint....it does make sense to wait. Many of the ones that say "its been promoted for years" are the ones that are short sighted, and would never be the elephant. Though from a true fan standpoint....I want it May 5th.

Nonsense. Arum works for Pacquiao not the other way around. Stop giving Pacquiao a pass for the things that Arum has done to prevent the fight from happening. All that talk about maximizing revenue is an excuse, just like Pacquiao's cut. In 1 breath Pacquiao claims to have agreed to take less money in order to make the fight, but in the next breath he won't accept the May 5th date because Arum wants to maximize revenue. Those are contradictory positions and dimwitted fans keep giving them a pass. Either Pacquiao will accept Mayweather's May 5th challenge or he'll hide behind Arum's BS and duck the fight. There's no other way to call it at this point. All this about Pacquiao wanting the fight is nonsense, if he truly did then he wouldn't allow Arum to obstruct.
