Yup, its like why cant Pac fight on May 5.. Well why cant Floyd fight in late May... Its funny are talking about dates, when they havent even made any real effort and discuss the more important terms like testing, PPV sharing, penalties. Stuff that needs to be sorted out once the negotiations starts. And yet people are all pumped about the date the fight..lol

Say No?? So what was the comment that Arum just made.. Because from what I read he said yes.. And that Floyd was Plan A.. Now obviously you would refuse to believe that.. But what makes you think that Floyd word's can be trusted too considering that like Arum, he also has a history of flip flopping which you already pointed out..

If Arum is not saying "Yes, we accept Mayweather's May 5th challenge" then the answer is "No, we don't accept Mayweather's challenge". All that nonsense about late May and early June is nothing but an excuse. If Mayweather is truly plan a then they would be doing what's necessary to make the fight for May 5th. And Floyd so called challenge didn't actually have a offer letter in black and white that came with it.. So in other words, he is just blowing smoke to make you think that he actually wants to fight Pac..

How can he make an offer if Arum and company refuse to sit at the table genius? Plus according to Pacquiao, the points of contention have been resolved. Pacquiao has claimed that he will agree to the random blood testing along with taking the smaller purse. That means that all there should be
left to do is accept the challenge and have the contract drawn up
and signed.

To be perfectly honest, you are. People want to get mad at Arum when he's only acting in his own best interest. He doesn't have any obligation to boxing or it's fans to make the Pacquioa Mayweather fight. His only obligation is to appease his fighters and himself. Pacquiao allows him to run his BS and the public falls for it. If anyone is to blame it's people like you for being dumb/easily manipulated.

As far as I am concern, I dont believe any of those statement unless there is a real proof that negotiations are actually taking place.. And you are a fool to actually believe otherwise...

I'm not believing any statements. All I know is this, Mayweather has publicly called out Pacquiao for May 5th, and either Pacquiao will accept the challenge or he will duck it. Making a counter offer isn't accepting a challenge.

100% agree. Although floyd really never has said no to any date in later May yet. i dont know what the hell is the bid issue with Any day in May other than Arums need for greed with new temp stadium. IMO May 5th if fight was made...someone will lose. Or draw. Obviously! There would be a rematch i imagine in the contract. That would probably generate more money with the the 2nd fight. Of course im not a promoter either.

If Floyd is serious about his challenge, then he would let his representative talk to Arum, and let them negotiate the terms including the date of the fight, which Team Pac has said that can be made in May.

I wouldn't do that because I don't know if you're representing Mayweather or you aren't. You don't have a contract with Mayweather and neither does Schaefer. Schaefer has done some promotions for Mayweather for a fee, but that doesn't mean he's representing him on this type of situation. Looking at it from Mayweather's perspective, with money this large, I wouldn't want to go naked and fight on a percentage. I would want a substantial guarantee. look at him. he hasn't grown up. he still acts as a teenager. i don't see what's wrong with contacting his friend todd duboef to start the ball rolling. he has to be cajoled, caressed, pacified, convinced, persuaded, you name it, to make him enter formal negotiations. there's no diplomatic blood in his veins. negotiations had to be in a very contentious manner. he's close to retiring again and he has no desire of making peace with the world. how many jail terms this guy needs to see himself in the mirror?
