Too much logic there my friend. But forget that, what would have happened if Mayweather had refused the random blood tests?
That is something that I honestly never understood. And more importantly never understood why the media didn't just kill Pacquiao for that.
Most people here probably don't remember as they tend to have short memories, but I remember when the fight was first being proposed, from the very beginning Mayweathers camp came out and said they wanted Random blood test. Pacquiaos camp laughed at the notion and said it would be no problem. Negotiations continued, they agreed on 50/50, 8oz gloves, 147 weight limit, MGM grand, 10 million dollar fine for over the limit, etc.
Then suddenly after all that the random blood test became a problem. I mean after they said from the very beginning that it was perfectly ok. They agreed to all other specifics, then it became a problem.
Pacquiao wanted 30 days, 24, 14, etc. So ridiculous, and to this day I wonder why no sports outlet called Manny out on this. Why they let him slide on this one.
If it was Mayweather he would have been all over ESPN being accused of cheating for not wanting to take those test.
Its true, but its greedyish...Floyd doesnt care about making more money off the fight than he already will be making...he said himself, "The fight is already sold"...U have to be pretty greedy to try and milk every million u can...I guess from a buisnes stand point ur supposed to...but at the same time, it makes things harder when Floyd wants the fight at the mgm...and why wait till the 19th so a stadium can be built, when u KNOW there is NO WAY, Floyd will NOT fight at the MGM...fighting on the 19th serves no purpouse when u think about it...I would like to see a fight of this magnitude in a big gigantic stadium, but only prollem is, Floyd wont go for it
It's all about business. This also gives more fans a chance to see it live, I'm sure more than 16,000 would jump at the chance to see it.
Who cares if GBP called Arum.....since Floyd is the man and doing his calling out, he can reach out to Arum directly and tell him who is representing him. I'm sure that phone call is worth over 30 million. Or he can text message Arum like he text messaged Pac. I want to hear from Mayweather. He is at least 10x more truthful than anyone else talking to the media at this time at 100x more truthful than Arum.
You really think that Arum doesn't know how to contact Al Haymon or Ellerbe?
title should read "Comments Thread For : Arum admits not to returning Schaefer's phone calls"
but ofcourse , this is boxingscene... i'll just wait like always for the real deal from fighthype
Team Pacquiao is a comedy of errors, every recent press release and interview just gets them deeper and deeper. They're so far exposed that at this point, there is no turning back, they might as well just down in flames.
You gotta give it to the *******s though, it takes some serious heart to attempt to defend this type of exposure. Either that or some serious ignorance.
