    Good points my primate friend.

    I don't really see what Hearn did with Barker as any worse than how Warren handled Murray vs Rios or the likes of Jennings and Lockett. Eventually domestic/Euro-level British fighters have to step up and it's not the promoter's fault that they often lose when they do.

    I think it's too early to tell with Boxnation but you may be right. Warren left ITV for Sky because it brought in more short-term cash, but in the long run it wasn't good for the sport and meant a lot less exposure for British fighters. Now it seems like he's doing something similar.

    ITV is seen by everyone, Sky Sports just by sports fans willing to pay extra, and Boxnation just by boxing fans willing pay extra. The sport is just moving further and further away from the mainstream, meaning less new and casual fans, and is costing viewers more, meaning established fans see less of it well.
