Sure Roach. That's why you guys chased Floyd to fight Clottey.

Roach said the cut issue was bogus.

"They do take time to heal, but I don't think that's a big issue, to be honest with you," Roach said, recalling how during his boxing career he suffered three cuts in a fight, each of which needed about eight stitches, and fought a month later.

Ultimately, Roach said, there have been too many excuses on both sides. He said the reason this fight has been hung up for so long comes down to the animosity between Arum and Mayweather's adviser, Al Haymon, as well as Golden Boy, the promoter Mayweather works with.

"It's ridiculous that two grown men can't do business together," Roach said. "It's like they both want to take their ball and go home. F--- it, it's business. They just need to drop the issues they have with each other and negotiate. This is not personal. This is business. Golden Boy is part of that equation too.

"People are starting to go the other way and not care about this fight because it's taking so damn long to make it. You've got to do it soon. I think it's at its peak. It's definitely time."

Let met get this straight, now the reason for not fighting Floyd is that you need more time to promote the fight? This, the biggest fight of all time, and you need time to promote. When will the excuses end?

another team pac member trying to save face!!!!!!!! chasing mayweather for 2 years my arse, team pac has been doing what they always do, setting pac up with an opponent that best matches his style, translation: a fighter who just comes forward with limited skills and will be there for pac to hit...thats exactly what roach said in an interview with mike woods on wednesday "peterson, style wise thats a good fight for manny" OMG if those words arent the obvious, and I cant see how ppl defend team pac....arum, roach, koncz, and mainly pac have been doing a good job of avoiding floyd and spinning the public...**** Roach! If Roach picked up a baby can he be charged for Shaking a Baby?

Another excuse. These guys have no shame. The world has been waiting for this fight for 2 years! How much promotion is needed?

Both of these guys have too much ego. Each side wants to have the last word. However, other than Pacquiao's last fight with Marquez, Mayweather has consistently outsold Pacquiao and that -to me at least- gives him a louder voice negotiations wise. Team Pac has been fighting Mayweather's leftovers and riding off of his fame and that's why the Marquez fight sold so much because people thought it would be the last stepping stone. Then it backfired and now he looks ******. The comments coming from everyone on Pacquiao's side have already proven everything I've known all along, that they were ducking Mayweather, and perhaps juicing, which here in America if you refuse a drug test or breathalyzer is grounds to get fired or face penal action. All I want to see now is Mayweather kick his ass in the ring. With Mayweather what you see is what you get, a questionable personality outside of the ring and a master inside. With Pacquiao you get a self centered diva with a god complex who pretends to be so nice in public, but in the backrooms where his business is done, he wants 90% of the money, catchweights, illegal handwraps (see Margarito fight) absolutely NO drug testing. He say's it's all up to Arum and it's not about the money. B.S. it's all about the money, and that's why you got into boxing in the first place, and it's obvious he only wants to fight bums and get paid but he straight up lies to your face. I'm glad a large part of the public has woken up to this phony.

Cinco de Mayo is a huge boxing date. Remember Mayweather-De La Hoya? Nobody should have to explain that to you.
