The official promotion started with ” you punk”. This is all part of a continued promotion. How about scheduling the fight for 12/21/12, the end of the mayan calendar. That enough promotion for you.

Still no reasonable answer. Why does it has to be on May 5th? And not 3 weeks or one month later? They could easily postpone Floyds jail sentance for another month.

From what I understand, Mayweather's legal team was able to postpone the date specifically because Floyd already had the date and venue set aside in advance. It was his "ace in the hole", so to speak. Floyd knew there was a possibility that he could be serving jail time, so he kept this surprise up his sleeve to put pressure on Team Pac. If a fight doesn't happen on May 5th, then he's basically violating the court order/disrespecting the judge. Arum said something to the degree of, "We'll help Floyd pay his legal fees," in order for the judge to get the date extended lol, i was like WHAT? Arum acts like a crook. Arum has no legitimate reason to NOT take the May 5th date, this is the ultimate problem that most fans have with Team Pac. This is why Team Pac is being accused of ducking, and the only way they change public perception is by taking the May 5th date.

Floyd is going to fight on May 5th no doubt about it, the only ??? is the opponent. May 5th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, there will be a fight, but it might not be the one everyone wants to see.

pac and his team have proven time and again that they shouldnt even be number 3 let alone number 1 in pnd for pnd rankings,pac lost the last fight the judges won it for him,him making all these excuses and fighting cotto again just is beyond explanation or absurd to me who in the hell would want to see that????this fight has been endlessly promoted for 3 yrs straight its a fight that needs no promotion ,arum simply is protecting his cash cow from a humiliating loss that much is clear pac aint the goods period.hes a slave to a greedy pig that has one foot in the grave.
