Abraham should make one last ditch effort to get back to 160. I don't get how he can't make the weight? If he keeps himself from blowing up to 200+ lbs in between fights I don't see what the problem is.

I would love to see him vs Sturm or Chavez jr if he could get back down.

Yeah as unimpressive as AA was today, stieglitz really isn't that special. A step below even Abraham IMO.

I agree. If at all possible, AA should come down. His power would be much more relevant there and he should be a little faster.

I don't get how Pablo looked so small compared to Abraham. He was 179 pounds (weigh in) in a fight just 3 months ago. Could Abraham really be rehydrating to 190?

I'm watching Stieglitz now. Of course Weber is a novice and Stieglitz might be fighting 'down' to that level, I cannot see Stieglitz having a chance against Kessler. He's to hittable and will likely be KO'ed around the 8th I think.

It looks to me that Farias doesn't take boxing too seriously as a profession. He could probably fight at 154 lbs relatively comfortably. He looked well overweight at 166 lbs.

What? I cannot believe Farias has weighed that much. He looked fat at 168!

He probably has made enough money though that he really doesn't have to move down and look for fights. As a fan of boxing I'd still like to see it. Or him vs Lemieux or Rubio, that's another good one. Shame we'll never get it I think.

Yeah, I know, right? He's been a couple cruiserweight fights and his last fight was at light heavy .

Here's the fight where he was 179 pounds. Does he look the same as in the Abraham fight? I can't remember. He does look a bit flabby.

Unless he lost a ton weight in 3 months, maybe he has a 10 pound tumor in his gut that he doesn't know about.

EDIT: You know, I do think he lost weight.

Farias looks like a tub of lard against Gerez.
