In a microcosm, this is what I see: Pac backs Mayweather to the ropes, lands a right to the body, throws 3 lefts to the head, one misses, Mayweather ducks the other, the third one is blocked, then Mayweather throws a right uppercut that lands flush, then turns off the ropes, lands 2 jabs and then lands a straight right that snaps Pac's head back. Advantage Mayweather. In the center of the ring, Mayweather will keep Pac honest with even more jabs and perfect right hands. Much of what Pac throws will land on gloves and miss Mayweather altogether. Much of what Mayweather throws will land flush. This will create something of a polar opposite and will make it difficult for Pac to setup anything, frustration will set in and he will end up following Mayweather and walking into punches.

I remember how Mosley was heavily favored to beat Forrest but that fight showed that the timing and precision from Forrest beat the speed of Mosley. The problem Pac would have is that the timing, precision, AND speed favor Mayweather.

Once I read "Atlas blasts Arum" I knew immediately what would follow. When Atlas "blasts" it just means that large volumes of hot gas will emerge....from both ends, impossible to tell which is which. He's a long discredited purveyor of irrationally scattered invective.

I suppose that he and everyone else works for free. And wouldn't take another similiar job at more money if offered???

There are "loose cannons" like Atlas all over the boxing world.

There' no such thing as "legally tied" in this matter. If he's actually contracted to reserve the Arena, depending on his "relationship" with them he could forfeit a part or all the rent. But he may just have reserved it on a "layaway" basis, to be firmed up later, as an opponent appears. Who knows, YOU don't, I don't. Only Mayweather and MGM know.

As for the arena, it will be a temporary structure. it will not belong to Arum, where did you get that idea? It will be likely paid for by the owner of the hotel/casino, who owns the property and beside whose hotel is is, as part of or in lieu of a site-fee. Likely other adjacent hotels will chip in, depending on how close they are to the acion, in descending amounts.

          Are you another crazy "Arum-bug"??

I didn't say it was Arum's arena. He would be showing off his work, and bragging about the forty thousand seats and take all the credit for everything. Since neither you nor I know what Mayweather has comitted to, we do not know if he can or even wants to break a contract with MGM if he has one or the type of contract/commitment.

The date is a coveted date...Arum is just trying to get Mayweather to release his grip on the date so he (Arum can grab it). Trust me, if Mayweather were to release his grip on that on May 5, watch how Arum comes up with some shady stuff, and avoid the fight while at the same time gripping the May 5 date.

Floyd's the favourite if Pac and he were to ever fight. He always has been I'm quite certain.

C'mon Filipinos! Mexicans always fight the best-- and without weight draining their opponents. You gotta fight the best like we do to even be considered elite on our level. How many Mexicans have fought Floyd?
