He was also over 6' tall with an excellent jab to Mosleys' 5'8 max and he got in a surprising
2nd rd uppercut which dropped Mosley hard, when he was on the ropes and put him down again within seconds. Mosley never recovered. Although a warior, it was obvious that this humiliating, unexpected defeat took away his confidence. He was never the same afterwards.

It was very serious, to the bone, needing 3 layers of stitches totalling 28. That's the serious kind of cut, and healing time depends on the individual. No way that any half conscious businessman, even fighter, would take a tens-of-millions risk on this.

Mayweather would only be to glad to take the fight-that is, if he's serious and it wasn't a fake to get the postponed gaol term, which he will later ask to be converted into a suspended sentence for good behaviour- and target the eye from the beginning. He'd love that advantage and this may be behind his trash talk. Otherwise I see no reason for his booking the MGM for such an arbitrary, early date not even discussed with a fighter of such stature as Pacquiao. I tend to believe it was a fraud, and worth Mayweather's gamble he might have to pay a cancellation fee. If he's finding another opponent, that won't be relevant.
GTFO...Pac is ok to fight JMM on the 5th but not Floyd?? LMAO

Atlas should first prove himself by improving Povetkin.

Atlas is only saying what many rational people have been saying for quite some time, that Manny loses and he loses big time. See, a scenario like that doesn't jibe with “Manny the unbeatable badass,” and it doesn't gel with people that think because you have questionable character you aren't great.

What some fail to realize is that so many "fans" are emotionally wrapped up in Manny Pacquiao; they'd probably take his loss worse than he would, so they fight against any idea that might challenge that terrible prospect.

Fact: Mayweather whips Pacquiao all night long....

Nah, Atlas must be mistaken, Top Rank exhibition match-up's are fun.

Give it up homie. Your kind is becoming extinct on boxing forums like Dinosaurs. Mostly everyone knows the truth now. Keep running with your opinion, trying to pass it for facts and continue looking like a fanatic nut hugger if you like.

That's the difference, and the advantage, of Pacquiao having Arum. Whether the pay-per-view fails or does well, Manny gets his money guaranteed no matter what. If Mayweather's pay-per-view fails, he could go broke, like Jones Jr. did with the Hopkins rematch, where GB only guaranteed Hopkins' end of the deal.

That's why Arum says, I will guarantee Pacquiao's end of the deal, but I won't guarantee both fighters. If he guarantees each guy 40-50 million, the pay-per-view would have to sell at least 2 million buys or more to make a profit. There is no guarantee it sells 2 million because of Internet piracy and HBO also takes their cut.
lmfao..Floyds been doing fine making his money Tell Arum to stop making excuses its sickening.........btw where are all these "investors",where are they??the one he claimed would guaratee Manny and Floyd all this money??

                    Who would have thought.....

1.) the MGM Grand is a terrible place to hold a boxing match

2.) Cinco de Mayo is the worst date to hold a boxing match

3.) a cut takes up to 6 months to heal

4.) Mayweather is not a PPV attraction

5.) 5 months is not long enough to promote a fight that has been brewing for three years

                    Just wow

Well that just goes to show how little I know, because I would have thought that was just another big ol' pile of ridiculous excuses to come from Team Pacquiao.

                    Go figure.

You're the gullible one - the cut has almost healed already according to members of his own camp, and only a couple of weeks ago, Arum was talking about Pacquiao fighting Marquez on May 5, when he thought Mayweather would be safely in jail on that date.

From the Marquez fight to May 5 is actually nearly five months, not three and a half, and it's extremely unusual for even a deep cut to take anywhere near five months to heal.

And just today Roach was asked about the May 5 date and said: "A May 5 date is a possibility but a June date would be much better because we would have more time to train. Manny always stays in good shape. If it was up to me I would pick the later date. But I also like a challenge."

No mention of the cut from Roach!!!

So give up your nuthugging and face the truth.
