According to recent interview with ESPN.com, trainer Freddie Roach selected Lamont Peterson as the top pick on his list for Manny Pacquiao. Top Rank's CEO Bob Arum is meeting with Pacquiao to select an opponent for late-May or early June. Among the four selections, Roach has Peterson at the top of his list, followed by Timothy Bradley, Miguel Cotto and then Juan Manuel Marquez.

Doubt this would happen. Peterson's not a big enough name. Although, they did match pac up with clottey. so who knows. i say it's gonna end up being JMM again.

Read the article over at ESPN. This is SO MUCH like 2009-early 2010. When Manny turned down the Mayweather fight during the mediation to fight the best welter in about 20 years, Josh Clottey. He will do the same here and fight a lesser opponent. I'm mad for the sport of boxing.
