As much as i hate Khan I got Khan winning this as im pretty sure he will come to this fight more prepared than the last time...Hopefully Lamont proves me wrong though and makes Khan jump on his bike again...That was some funny **** seeing Khan getting bullied round the ring.
I think that I agree with you, but I am real glad that they didn't strip Peterson.

The only reason why I am not with you 100% is because I really want to see a rematch, nd I am not 100% sure that Peterson would have given Khan one.

I do not mean to infer that Peterson would have avoided Khan, not at all, just that he is a free agent, and has plenty of options in front of him right now.

    I'm up for that rematch.

Peterson would have listen and went with the best offer..If I'm him I still do that, the IBF will not strip him..If he hears a better offer,I would drop the WBA and go after the better option..If this were reversed Khan would not have thought twice about a rematch with Peterson, you can bet ya azz on that..So why should Peterson be so up to fight again without seeing what's out there??I will be interested in seeing how the whole thing plays out...

I think the rematch will be interesting.

Khan showed he can beat Peterson from a distance, but history has shown that Khan really doesn't have the tools necessary to comfortably deal with intense pressure and in-fighting.

I have a feeling GBP will get a pretty big ring and over officious ref.

Once again who was paying the ref and WBA Supervisor off??Peterson with all his 600K..Get real man, this is just Khan trying to take the attention off the fact he had a hard fight, with a guy who let's face it,most thought he would/should beat easy(I'm not one of those people by the way)...
Come on Rome lets not be niave bro, the odds on Peterson to win were huge. A few bets from the right people and a lot of money could be made. again this is speculation, same way your speculating that GBP payed off WBA.

We can go in circles about this, but bottom line is great fight, LP is a good champ and the re-match will now be huge lets look forward to that.

Absolutely, I agree. But, what better fight could we hope to see at 140 ?

                Peterson vs ?

And, who could he fight that would make him more money ?

                There is only Pacquiao.

If he somehow lands a Pac fight (which would be just wrong) then he should take it, but otherwise, I dont want to see him fight anyone else but Khan.

I cant argue with that, I am sure that if Khan had been awarded a squeaky decision over Peterson, he would have moved on, no question.

This should be a good scrap though Romey.

Can Peterson replicate that performance, and can Khan make the necessary adjustments in his game to combat the style that Lamont used so effectively?

                Intriguing.

He needs to mix it up more, he needs to learn when to box and when to fight.

The calls for Amir to suddenly develop an inside game, are over-stated.

Amir does not need to change his style, he needs to develop his style and enhance it. He needs to study how Chemito deals with pressure. I am not suggesting that having the ability to fight on the inside is not beneficial, or essential, just that you do not fight to your opponents strengths, you fight to your strengths.

I am up for that rematch, but Peterson is the man, this fight should go down on his terms.

The point is, now we find out how good Roach is at studying/adapting strength's vs weaknesses. Amir needs to make big adjustments, but they are only adjustments.
