I agree. Khan gave no rematches to Barrera or Maidana. In the Barrara fight the fight was allowed to continue until a decision could be made.Cortez clearly helped out Khan in the Maidana fight Cooper was much fairer but no rematches there. Had Khan got the decision there is NO WAY he would have given Peterson a rematch.
Team Khan and GBP are a bunch of twisters and hypocrites when they go on about Peterson should do the right thing and give Khan a rematch. There is no question IMO that GBP have paid the WBA to order a rematch.
I suspect Team Khan will continue with their twister dubious low balling negotiation tactics and "Make Peterson an offer he can't accept" then blame him and say he was frightened and knew he lost the the first fight. Then take on a soft touch opponent that won't expose Khan's technical deficiencies to recreate the illusion that Khan is a viable Mayweather beater. I think this is the Khrap Twister Team Khan , Coke Head Oscar and spin artist Schaeffer ave in mind for us.

First off, khan gets no credit for the barrera win (i dont give him any either) so what would the rematch achieve? Maidana re-match has a point and I believe that fight will be made up at 147.

Cortez helped khan more then cooper did peterson? GTFO yeah taking 2 points off pushing (when was the last time that was done) is really very fair.

So all the su****ious **** happened during the fight but GBP have paid off the WBA?

They already offered Peterson 1M + so thats hardly 'an offer they cant accept'.

And with the last sentence your bias shines through.

So all in all **** post

          Peterson vs ?

And, who could he fight that would make him more money ?

          There is only Pacquiao.

If he somehow lands a Pac fight (which would be just wrong) then he should take it, but otherwise, I dont want to see him fight anyone else but Khan.

I cant argue with that, I am sure that if Khan had been awarded a squeaky decision over Peterson, he would have moved on, no question.

This should be a good scrap though Romey.

Can Peterson replicate that performance, and can Khan make the necessary adjustments in his game to combat the style that Lamont used so effectively?

          Intriguing.

He needs to mix it up more, he needs to learn when to box and when to fight.

The calls for Amir to suddenly develop an inside game, are over-stated.

Amir does not need to change his style, he needs to develop his style and enhance it. He needs to study how Chemito deals with pressure. I am not suggesting that having the ability to fight on the inside is not beneficial, or essential, just that you do not fight to your opponents strengths, you fight to your strengths.

I am up for that rematch, but Peterson is the man, this fight should go down on his terms.
I agree,Khan's biggest problems is when he senses pressure he is not relaxed..He let's his opponent dictate when he moves off a spot,he should be the one dictating(it's what his style call's for)when he moves..He has been taught how to use dirty moves to cope with pressure, but no fundamentals on how to clinch and use good footwork to turn his guy..Instead he pushes away or push the head down and uses his elbow on the back of the neck..He needs to work on footwork and most importantly his stamina and mental toughness..It's a big reason he starts to lose focus after 3 or 4 rds when his guy starts getting to him..

But I don't expect him to work on much, because threw out this whole thing Khan has blamed everyone but himself for this lost..I expect Khan to win the rematch, but most feel he did not win and got a gift decision..Funny that's what I thought would happen in their first fight...

To be fair, you usually get points taking away for a continues foul, which pushing(with the arms extended)is..And Khan was Warned far to much for anyone to feel the ref did not have a valid reason for taking a point..

Khan you are not knocking out anything ok? Maybe if you stopped running like a pansy and sat down more on your punches you could knock Lamont out. But all you do is you shoe-shine and run when you are in the ring with someone who does not fold or panic when you hit them. I think Lamont will actually beat you more convincingly the next time you guys fight. You won't fight on the inside and trade because of that wobbly chin you have and you are afraid someone will make you do the newborn baby deer dance again like Prescott did lol. Roach is overrated Khan and he couldn't give a **** about you, you are not his golden goose Manny, so get another trainer and improve. Roach is doing nothing for you....

                  for real?

Khan fa real? your not knocking out peterson. The reason why the judges even decided to award peterson with you belt was because of the fact you dont hit hard. While peterson sits down on all this punches. East Coast boxers are nothin to play wit. Whether its dc(peterson) philly(bernard) new york(cotto) grand rapids (mayweather) and then some. Khan got too much of a amuetar style. Hes not from the ****** where you gotta learn to hit hard.

Having a decent ref changes the whole dynamic of the fight, Khan wins by KO in 4-6 rds.
