Don't even answer cuz' I don't care. If you say they have done more than they have done more. I honestly don't care.

Look Pac has a horrible fan base. But, Floyd fan base are just as lame. Because, no matter who Floyd fights or the opponent his fans will find a way to justify it. Looking at your post for example. So I don't care.

You're going to pay for it, good for you. I'm not, I'm going to stream it. And, we just leave it at that.
I agree with almost everything you say, and I stand by my statement about Mayweather-Alvarez at 154 RIGHT NOW is a C+/B- fight. Alvarez has NOT earned it.

But, Mayweather vs. Cotto or Alvarez at 154 is far more legit than Pacquiao's choice of Clottey, Margarito, and Mosley.

Floyd-Cotto at 154 is still legit, a B+ fight. Cotto is still one of the top 154 lb fighters in the world and is pretty much the exact same guy he was in 09', only at a solid 153-154, not 145.

Clottey hadn't even won a fight in 2 years going into his fight with Manny. Yes, he fought hard against Cotto, but how can you justify a fight against a guy that hasn't won in 2 years??? Clottey was a D+/C- fight. Margarito was coming off a brutal KO loss to Shane Mosley when Pac opted to fight him. Margarito at 150 lb CW was a C- fight. And Mosley was after he got dominated by Floyd and fought a draw with Sergio Mora. Mosley was a C-/C pick for Pacquiao. And even Marquez at 144, where he'd been dominated at, was a C+ pick. After seeing how well Marquez performed against Manny, I'd probably rate it a B- choice, probably in the end on par with Floyd choosing Alvarez.

But, Manny's options of Clottey, Margarito, and Mosley are way worse than Floyd picking to Cotto or Alvarez at 154 next. Yes, Canelo is still a C+/B- at the highest choice. But, it's better than those 3. At least Canelo is young and up-and coming. At least Cotto is past his prime-still good, and has looked good at 154.

If Floyd picks Cotto at 154, he gets his due for that, same way Manny got his for beating Ricky Hatton. Yes, Pac gets more credit for beating Cotto first, same way Floyd gets more for beating Hatton first, but Floyd still gets his due if he beat a past prime-still good Cotto at 154. Same way Manny got his for beating a past prime-still good Hatton in 2009.

    • Then again, it shows you have to go above Floyd's comfortable weight class just to name the most challenging fighters. So that says all you gotta know about Floyd. Everyone from 140-147 is a mismatch, almost every top guy from 154-160 is a mismatch. IMO.

So, four weight classes, with only about 3 real legit challenges for Floyd. Neither of them being at 140-147.

We can disagree, but once you really think about it and face reality...Floyd would be favored to win against every single fighter from 140 to 160, even those who have the highest chance of beating him, would be underdogs.

I usually can rock with your opinions...you're good for the board....but I don't really understand why Cotto is not credible in your book....he was a credible win for Manny at a catchweight and was sporting a 2-1 record in his last 3....one of those many thought he lost....he was vulnerable as hell and Manny went to town on him....personally, I thought Cotto was gonna whoop his ass....so that was credible...not just to me but to MOST....if Floyd fights he'll be 3-0 in his last 3 without the catchweight...again, I'm NOT comparing the wins but what credibility has Cotto lost since losing to Manny?!?...unlike Shane who had a draw coming off of a lost and then getting the Manny fight....Shane is done but Cotto is still good money imo

Well put, I lacked the in depth explanation you gave to my comment about Cotto.
