Cotto is not going to turn down a payday out of loyalty to Arum.

But that brings up an interesting point. Can Mayweather 'afford' to fight Cotto (who would want like 8 million probably)? These gargantuan paydays for the two divas are out of control.

I think that Cotto would pay for himself, he is a genuine draw.

Maybe that is not correct, I dont know much about the numbers/gates/PPV's, but as I said earlier, it is probably the only fight I would pay for.

No, as fans we should all push for a Pacquiao / Mayweather fight.

Bob Arum is the obstacle, and Manny is going along for the ride.

We should all boycott Pacquiao's next fight.

Arum is all about the money, affecting his income stream is the only way to have any influence on this situation. Arum would make that fight if he had to.

Yes and i agree with you you're sig is very much right! But how many ppl you really think will boycott Pacman? Pac has die hard fans they will never do that! and even may some one is goin to want to watch them fight.

Cotto is suppose to be a free agent now. To me Mayweather vs Cotto is still a megafight, maybe not as perfect as it would have been in 2008 but I never bought the propaganda that Cotto is washed up.

It would still rank as one of Mayweathers top wins.

I can see the interest Guerrero has for a Mayweather fight. It's his biggest trip to the bank. But he's faked a rotator cuff injury, cancelled his fight with Marcos Maidana, and since has pounded the table for everyone he wants to fight including Mayweather, but no word on rescheduling with Maidana. Scared to death of Marcos Maidana, as is Floyd Mayweather, whom rather than fight Maidana himself, Floyd opted to fight Victor Ortiz, who got destroyed in 6 rounds by Maidana. How does that make sense?!!? So Mayweather and Guerrero are better off with each other; they should birth great off-spring together. Both need to grow a pair!
