First off the fight is junk and Vitaly shouldn't even be pursuing it. Second, Vitaly and all his fanboys claim this is personal. I call bullshit. If it were personal Vitaly would concede every demand to get him in the ring and beat his brains in. Face the facts, this fight is and always has been about the money. No man as smart as Vitaly is going to take a joker like Haye seriously. But if he can make a few million.....Why not? The suckers will buy the hype!

Man I've been in the bar and restaurant business my entire life and have had people threaten me, threaten my family, call my mother names, pull knives, swing on me and everything else you can imagine. NONE of it was personal. It was just part of the business. They weren't mad at me, they didn't know me. They were mad at the person who wouldn't let them do what they wanted. David Haye holding up a picture (a PICTURE for Christs sake) wasn't personal, it was business. A publicity stunt. A way to hype a fight. Anybody who buys into Vitaly's whole "its personal" BS is a sucker. And like I said, if it was personal, Vitaly would give up every demand just for the chance to destroy him. I'm a fan of all 3 boxers. The Klitschko's are true gentlemen.

Haye did talk a lot of **** & let himself down in the bout with Wlad but he went the distance with a man who outweighed him by 32 pounds.

If Floyd Mayweather went the distance in a bout with Bernard Hopkins we'd be singing his praises. Same weight difference.

Haye does deserve some **** for the way he talked up the Wald fight then was strangely passive.

I can't see him beating Vitali but going out in a 3/4 round war would do him the world of good in his world standing.

It's about the money..ofcourse. If someone is going to pay me to bash someone's face in i sure as hell want to be in position to make the most cash for it. I agree with you that the hate for HAYE is more hype than personal.. as if Vitali was really threatened or insulted he'd make the fight at ANY cost. Vitaly surely wants to KNock him the F out but NOT at any price.. more business than personal...ofcourse if Haye would've knocked Wlad out cold... Vitali is a smart guy. He isnt going to be a sucker at the negotiating table. He knows Haye is in no position to make silly demands.

I have no doubt he wants to beat up Haye but he isnt going to be a walk over in order to get teh fight made. If Haye wants his shot at redemption then he needs to be realistic. Vitali will just carry on owning every man they put infront of him until then.

haye is in no position to make demands. vitali should offer him an 80-20 split across the board (i guess if he's really desperate for the fight he could go to 70-30 but haye really doesn't deserve that ... hell he doesn't deserve the fight in the first place) and if haye isn't happy with it forget about him. Haye is probably asking for a big percentage of the uk revenues or something like that.

Not really, you having that opinion doesn't make it so. And that fight will never happen since they are, erm, you know, brothers. How nice of you to worry about other people's money, but you're a little beligerant too, if they want to give their money to Vitali, who are you to tell them otherwise?

That would be sick and would bring boxing into disrepute. To try to knock out someone you love for money would be the lowest of the low and I find it hard to retain respect for anyone who seriously wants that to happen.
