he had a bad camp, **** happens, like I said before you came in with your misinformation, Brandon will stay at 135 if it's Gamboa, if not he moves up
you wanna know how I know? I don't talk to guys who know guys who heard of guys who train with Brandon. I talk to Brandon literally everyday
there's no point to stay at 135 unless it's Gamboa. He initially wanted to unify with Linares because of what Roach was saying but when Linares lost that all kind of went away
I don´t remember, probably it was you lol. I think you said he was pretty bad. And García said Rios was moving up after that fight, I think he knows Rios better than you and knows what is better for him. So Rios taking the Gamboa fight is a case of obedience whether you like it or not, if you work for Arum you know you have to cooperate and show self disposition. Rios wouldn´t let Arum know he is afraid of a catch-weight against Gamboa.

Gamboa could keep fighting at 126 or 130 if he wanted to. But again, Gamboa wants a big payday, he wants to be on a PPV, he wants to fight pacquiao, he wants to be a star. He wont get any of that at 126/130 (I'm not arguing if it's the smart thing to do, I'm just saying what gamboa wants).
gamboa has that crazy confidence of a undefeated fighter. he probably thinks he can do it because pac did it before and he considers himself more skilled than pac. or he got carried away by solis' comments that he hits harder than pac.

The truth is Arum DOESN'T want Gamboa to become a star. He only signed him to control his career and not allow him to fight his cash cows. That's why you won't see Donaire or Mikey against Gamboa, never. He also thought Juanma was the truth and wanted to create a nemesis for him in Gamboa, to create a rivalry and eventually "feed" Gamboa to Juanma. Obviously, his plan failed big time. Gamboa happened to be a King and Juanma was a fraud as some of us called long time ago.
That's also why Gamboa never got the big fights he wanted and was forced to fight bums (Mtagwa, Garcia, etc.), because Arum wanted the big names for Juanma's resume. He's now trying to build up the undefeated mexican Rios, who can become a VERY profitable cash cow, so he wants to sacrifice the "little" Gamboa who has a name to make Rios bigger in the game. Arum thinks Gamboa will lose, that's why he's making this fight. In case Gamboa wins, it wouldn't be a total loss because he could then "feed" Gamboa to Pacman as an "easy" opponent. On the other side, Gamboa is happy with it because his goal is Pacman and he sees Rios as a ladder to reach him.
I think it is true that Arum signed Gamboa to keep him away from the cash cows but I also think that Arum wont miss a chance to bump up the valor of Gamboa, because I think that Arum actually sees more potential and has more faith in Gamboa. Arum probably thinks like many other here that Rios will fail against bigger and better boxers in higher weight divisions and his success wont last long... so he is trying to save some value from Rios to put it on the better boxer Gamboa.

I'm approximately as tall as Brandon, and I get absolutely shredded at 160. Although I carry more muscle mass than Rios, I couldn't imagine a man his height and frame coming down to 135 and expect to be at maximum strength for long.

The Acosta and Antillon fights were good solid camps where he had little issue making weight. Lowther and Murray were awful
