Again, this isn't a fight that Bob Arum had some master plan of making, othrewise you might have a point, this is a fight that Gamboa keeps insisting about and Rios in return has repeatedly accepted. This is truly a case of two guys just wanting to get it on.
Rios accepted most likely because he has to follow orders. Rios starves to make weight for his last fight, announces they will jump division because he just canīt make the weight anymore and all of a sudden Arum appears and sends him against the most talented boxer he has. Lol, that isnīt coincidence. They are trying to give a bump to Gamboaīs career via an unfair catch weight Pacquiao style "Have it our way" fight.

Don't speak for Brandon please. The moment Gamboa mentioned Rios, Brandon accepted the fight so while Brandon fights whoever Cameron and Bob put in front of him make no mistake he WANTS Gamboa.

and you do realize this fight has been talked about BEFORE all these talks?

the only reason Brandon stays at 135 is for Gamboa period

is gamboa really serious moving up to 135? i don't even look at him as a big 126 fighter. he will be severely outsized by rios and rios is a tough fighter with a very good chin...he'll probabaly walk through gamboa's punches.

exactly, before rios struggled to make weight against murray they were talking about this fight.

Not everything in boxing is a conspiracy!

I know that's why I say gamboa is crazy. He wants that money though, there simply are no big money fights for him at 126/130. Best he could hope for is donaire, but he'd have to wait a bit for donaire to get to 126 which could be a year, who knows how long.

For whatever reason Gamboa thinks he can beat Rios. Maybe he's right. It will be tough, no doubt, but he wouldn't want him so bad unless he's confident. Gamboa sees Rios as his oppurtinity to land a huge fight, pacquiao, khan, floyd...those are the guys gamboa wants to fight.

It has been talked before, and it has to happen now that Rios couldnīt make weight starving for 4 days?. Do You want to see good fights or not?.

This is not a coincidence, Arum is doing this because Gamboa will defeat a zombie anemic Rios easily. Old trick Arum has and has worked charms for Pac.

i don't even think rios-gamboa is really a big money fight. how much do you think hbo will offer for that?

i don't think he will beat rios no matter how confident he is. rios will chop him down until he got no more left. gamboa will probably win the early rounds but if he can't hurt rios he will fall in the latter rounds. he'll succomb to pressure and rios will give him more than that...he'll give him hell.

Iīve talked with a guy who trains with Rios and saw him starving for days on this last fight. He said he looked horrible. Doing it one more time will be horrible again because Rios wasnīt that fat against Murray.

The time for a good fight between Rios and Gamboa is gone. Let Rios move up damn exploiters.

actually he is using 135 as a stepping stone to get himself into the mix for Pacquiao
