If they don't fight each other, it's going to be Gamboa-Juarez and Rios-Alvarado.

Gamboa-Juarez would suck, but Rios-Alvarado would be a FOTY type fight.

I've asked Brandon why stay at 135 and he said only for the Gamboa fight so IMO if they don't fight March 3rd I doubt they fight at all. He does not want to stay at 135 for two more fights
If he can make 135, great, but that's hard to imagine seeing him at the weigh in for the last fight.

I'd love to see this fight, and holy sh** to Gamboa if it gets made. I'm a somewhat irrational Gamboa fan, and I'd pick him, but wow what a fight.

well he was all set on 140 but thought about it a little and decided if it's Gamboa then one more fight at 135 will do.

I have huge doubts he stays for more than one fight he wants to move up to 140 and fight the big boys out there

            Nevermind, my mistake.

I checked Gamboa's wiki and it said he was facing Juarez. But just minutes ago I checked on google and an article declared that the fight was just a rumor.

Yuri has some stones. I guess you could say that about anyone that defects from Cuba and leaves everything behind to start over somewhere else. But fighting a beast, much larger than yourself, in your first fight two weight classes higher is off the chain. I'd love to see Gamboa pull it off, but it's a tall order.

Gamboa wins by decision in a thriller. If Rios wins, he's puttin Gamboa to sleep.

The only thing I would add to your post is an "if" at the beginning of the first sentence.

the excuse will then become "well rios was a dead man walking, drained himself to make 135" after gamboa whips his ass all over the ring.

Dam that is NOICE!!!!!!! Even thought I wanted to see a Donaire- Gamboa fight first.... I wanna see that Rios kid get beat by a smaller dude... Rios has zero quick hand speed and AS for Gamboa he might loss some hand speed but gain solid brick hand that is going to destroy Rio's
