Gamboa isn't the crazy wild guy from 3 years ago. He has adopted new strategies that is turning him into a more careful type of fighter. Sure, he'll get a little crazy but those days are over.

I've asked Brandon why stay at 135 and he said only for the Gamboa fight so IMO if they don't fight March 3rd I doubt they fight at all. He does not want to stay at 135 for two more fights

If Rios is staying at 135, this better be the fight. Make it happen. Gamboa is prime, Rios is prime, both unbeaten, it's time. The winner of this fight would elevate to a star of the sport, that's a fact. If Rios KO'd Gamboa, he'd become one of the most feared fighters in boxing and he's already crowd pleasing. If Gamboa schools Rios, which I think he will, he should without a doubt be a Top 10 P4P fighter.

Yes, Rios would probably weigh win around 150-155 on fight night, while Gamboa would probably weigh around 140 or so. But, Gambos has enoughs kill and speed to out-box Rios all night long. All he has to do is not get caught slipping, which he has a few times. But, that's what makes it so interesting.

didn't you read the article? If gamboa vs rios can be made now, it will. If not, bob arum wants them to fight on the same HBO card then fight eachother after. The article states it all depends on HBO and if they're willing to put up the money for two fights, or just one.
