They take turns bs'ing. Pac's side killed March 09. May's claimed no negotiating the next round. Now it's Pac's side again. Total rubbish all around.

It will be interesting to see how Floyd worms out of it if Pac does want it yet again, will he use the ol PEDs smokescreen? or maybe say 'he was lucky to get a decision against a guy i beat easily'-i expect a bit of both from the biggest ducker in the sport

Why would HBO execs have lied about that? If it was all Arum, that's one thing. It wasn't. C'mon dude.

Manny already agreed to full testing. Why would it be an issue?

If he does spin it like Manny doesn't deserve the fight hes clearly ducking yes, but i have a feeling that won't happen.

I tend to believe there were negotiations simply due to what you mention.

To refresh my memory though, did they specify who was involved in these negotiations?
I could see the difference between serious and scheduled negotiations with a third party mediator compared to some random phonecalls between golden boy and top rank representatives.

From what I remember, Top Rank and Golden Boy were talking, but Floyd's people didn't talk. It was something like that.

Who said an HBO exec lied? Please show me where these two parties negotiated.

Haymon, Arum, and Greenburg. Ellerbe pulled a "what is the definition of is" bit on it. http://sports.espn.go.com/sports/box...ory?id=5412488 Whatever. At this point, Manny should just refuse to fight anyone but and put the hot shoe on Arum. Arum is, no matter what he might think, ultimately an employee. Manny should tell him what to do if he WANTS the fight.

Greenburg says they did. If he was talking to Haymon and Arum, and says it was a negotiation, I'll take his word for it. That's who negotiates for these two. Show me where they didn't? Maybe everyone was just confused. Ellerbe appeared to want to define it by some technicality or something. Just another **** measuring contest.

I don't think he'll have to worm has way out of anything at this rate.

Because, as you can see, May apparently is no longer an available date like it was yesterday, now a certain fighter is available.

It's clear as day what the issue is here.
