      1. This fight will not be the war that the casual fan thinks it will be. This will be a one-sided affair to the point where there will be some outcry about one of the boxers' sub-par performance and clamoring for PPV refunds because of it. Mayweather will school Manny from pillar to post; from the first bell until it ends. If you don't know this already, you don't know anything about boxing (or you're a *******).

      2. Mayweather has demonstrated he's less willing to make this fight than Pacquiao. It's mind-boggling because the end-result is obvious. He didn't get serious about making the fight until after Pac-JMM III; that was 2 months ago. *****s, your guy will win, no question about it, but please, stop saying Manny's been running from Floyd. Your only argument should be one based on reality (but not Mayweather's alternate reality) and, even though I'd love nothing more than to see Floyd defeated just to see his reaction and how he twists the loss for the media, you already have the winning horse! Stick with that one.

      3. TR & GBP have been nothing but an obstacle to this fight happening. Something of this magnitude requires Ole Bob's connections to put together properly, so you can't rule him out. Getting GBP & Schaeffer away from the negotiating table and having Ellerbe negotiate directly with TR will save everybody copious amounts of time, speculation & B.S.

Any Manny fans who disagree, I have 10,000,000 on Floyd. Care to put your money where your mouth will be after you're done blowing Manny?
While I enjoyed reading your post and you hit certain things on the head but forgot to mention that Floyd came back from being semi retired to fight Pac. He was at the table after Pac beat Cotto (a guy Floyd supposedly had ducked). Pac went to fight Clottey over a stalemate on random blood issues that Roach said would not be a problem prior. Arum and Pac only started talking about fighting Floyd when they signed to fight Clottey and when Floyd retired again after Mosley. Arum and Pac always made it a big issue and their mission to fight Floyd when he wasn't around in the sport. Once he was back in the picture he wasn't a priority anymore or emphasis on Manny's cut. Come on fam. While Floyd should have just fought Pac without the tests but can understand if he wanted them. Pac could have agreed to Floyd's way if he really wanted the fight. Bob Arum NEVER wanted to make the fight a reality and his actions and match making ways should be enough to prove that.

This needs to be floyds last fight, fighters are never the same once they have spent time away.

          He a dumb criminal.

Maybe he like the jails so he better when come out.

Maybe both dumb guys ask too much moneys so no one get to fight.

Then Floyd could beated woman in front of kids again, like big dummy.

Then Pac can sing kareokes and gambull and no train hard.

When mayweather said he was ready to fight on may5
PAC And arum said that's not long enough for pacs cut to heal

Then mayweather get sentenced to jail and all of a sudden PAC is able to fight in may

Now mayweather is ok to fight may5th And once again PAC is unavailable lol and the reason goldenboy didn't mention PAC is because they already know from all the bs arum has been saying there will never be a may PAC fight never
Yep, funny as hell huh ?

Team Pacquiao are a right old circus, and they always have been.

Arum and Pacquiao must have shat themselves when they heard that Mayweather's surrender date was deferred.

Pacquiao is smarter than people think. Although Arum is his promoter, he can tell Arum he wants Floyd and no one else right now. He has that power.

I think the outcry if Pacquiao doesn't choose Floyd now will be EVEN huger than the Mosley fight.

You couldn't think for a second that Floyd was serious just because he said that when he did. As far as he knew, he was going to jail for 90 days at some point early in the year, nullifying the possibility of him training to fight for May 5th. Or that Ole Bob would just say "yes, let's do it". Cm'on Man! It was done then to steal shine from Pac. When did he announce he was fighting Marquez? That's right, right before a Manny fight. He always does that.

Mayweather's peeps played the hype machine smartly. Why not call Pac out for a date and place he couldn't possibly make? That way he almost made everybody forget that when people started talking excitedly about this matchup back in '08... he retired. Smart move all the way around. He didn't trust himself to beat Pacquiao until he saw a more defensive Marquez give Pac all kinds of trouble.

And do you really think Floyd is able to reserve, all on his own, the MGM Grand for a Saturday, May 5th? If you do, I have some bridges to sell you. GBP reserves dates for MGM. Top Rank reserves Vegas. Lou Di Bella could probably get Mandalay Bay booked. Golden Boy was covered; if it wasn't Floyd headlining, it was going to be Canelo and a bunch of other great Mexican fighters; the way a 5/5 card should be. Who's on the undercard of Mayweather/Cotto already? That's right, Canelo. Bet you they'll have at least 1 Mexican per fight except for the main one.

You have to read between the lines.
