    floyd doesnt go to jail

    It's hilarious.

Before the Pac-JMM III fight: "Floyd is afraid of Manny, isn't serious about May 5th".

After the fight: "Floyd will still be there next fall".

Early December: "We're talking to investors about the fight, no decision until after the holidays".

Early December: "May is bad, manny needs time for his cut to heel".

Floyd gets sentenced to jail: "We are moving forward without Floyd. Manny will fight in may or June."

Floyd gets a continuation till June:.............Let's wait and see what Arum says next.

I have no doubt it will be "Floyd was sentenced to jail, we moved on, because we aren't basing our decisions on what if's. By the time Floyd got a continuation until June, we already made a plan to fight Marquez-Cotto-Bradley."

For the record, if Manny or Floyd fought Cotto at 154 lbs, it'd be a B or B+ fight. But, if it was at 147 or 150, it's a C+ fight. There's no other way around it.

Can't wait to hear Arum's response to this, he probably s**t his pants realizing he won't be able to fool people into thinking Floyd is a non option now.

Sounds like the courts might expect Floyd to fight Manny. I don't think they'd do that for another 1 to 1.5 but who knows.

I guess his lawyers don't suck let the talks begin. If a fight can't be made between him and Pac then bring on Cotto vs Money with a stacked mexican undercard on May 5th.

                  1. This fight will not be the war that the casual fan thinks it will be. This will be a one-sided affair to the point where there will be some outcry about one of the boxers' sub-par performance and clamoring for PPV refunds because of it. Mayweather will school Manny from pillar to post; from the first bell until it ends. If you don't know this already, you don't know anything about boxing (or you're a *******).

                  2. Mayweather has demonstrated he's less willing to make this fight than Pacquiao. It's mind-boggling because the end-result is obvious. He didn't get serious about making the fight until after Pac-JMM III; that was 2 months ago. *****s, your guy will win, no question about it, but please, stop saying Manny's been running from Floyd. Your only argument should be one based on reality (but not Mayweather's alternate reality) and, even though I'd love nothing more than to see Floyd defeated just to see his reaction and how he twists the loss for the media, you already have the winning horse! Stick with that one.

                  3. TR & GBP have been nothing but an obstacle to this fight happening. Something of this magnitude requires Ole Bob's connections to put together properly, so you can't rule him out. Getting GBP & Schaeffer away from the negotiating table and having Ellerbe negotiate directly with TR will save everybody copious amounts of time, speculation & B.S.

Any Manny fans who disagree, I have 10,000,000 on Floyd. Care to put your money where your mouth will be after you're done blowing Manny?
Actually Mayweather announced he reserved the MGM grand for the Pacquiao fight the week before the Pac/Marquez fight took place.

                    Another lost Boxing fan...

Oh so Manny can fight if it's Juan Manuel Marquez but not if it's Floyd. Arum is avoiding this fight because he's a power hungry greedy bastard. I'm done with boxing after Pacquiao anyway. And I will not order Pacquiao vs Cotto or Peterson. I'm boycotting Top Rank besides Pacquiao as long as he fights Mayweather, Marquez, or Bradley. Sad that Bob Arum is pushing another boxing fan away. But I still support Pacquiao.
