the defination of Coward is

the WBC named Sergio Martinez the mandatory challenger for Chavez. Chavez chose to fight Rubio, who the WBC placed after Martinez in their december convention.

why not fight Sergio Martinez? it's not like Rubio is a bigger fight so he doesn't have the money excuse. seriously why avoid Martinez? unless the fight with Martinez is too difficult or dangerous.

and that's what makes him a coward. he can say all he wants but at the end of the day he is taking the safer fight and ignoring the WBC ruling. whatever Chavez says is just an excuse because he's bending the rules in his favor because he hides behind his fathers name.

that said, Martinez didn't have to do what HBO wanted( he got paid handsomely even if he gave up his WBC belt in order to satisfy HBO), and Chavez Jr is not responsible for the mess that Sulaiman made by naming Rubio a mando and Martinez an emeritus champion.How come Team Martinez claimed they didnt give a fu.ck about being stripped of the WBO belt and have no reason to fight Pirog, but when they willingly(because they chose HBO money over the WBC belt) gave up the WBC belt, they want Chavez Jr because of the belt(yeah, that trustfund baby money is not the real reason...right)
