I really believe he would of beaten Oscar had he notted been made concussion prone by trinidad.

He beat Corte handidly. He had never been on the canvas, until he fought tito. Tito knocked him down five times in a brutal fight.

After that he was getting wobbled by every bum he fought.

Vargas wins by KO. I just could never see Ortiz hanging in there with guys like Prime De La Hoya and Trinidad. If 34 year old Mayweather made Ortiz break down mentally in 4 rounds a prime De La Hoya would have destroyed him in less. Vargas by TKO or KO victory, Ortiz doesn't have the boxing skill or the heart to give Vargas any trouble.

To sum this up very easy. It's Vargas because there's no quit in him. He sustained five of the most vicious knockdowns, against one of the strongest punchers p4p of the past 20 years and kept getting up from them until the referee was finally forced to stop the fight.
