Am I the only one who sees Chavez winning this fight?? I think he will win not because hes good but if Rubio could beat him then i doubt they would have taken this fight, Rubio hits hard but Jnr has shown a gd chin. Also the guy Rubio beat lost his next fight and even before he lost to Rubio he hadn't fought anyone.

Plus Rubio has not performed well enough in his previous title opportunities and is giving up a fair bit of size. I wish him the best though but i see him losing by late stoppage.

I do think that JCC will stop Rubio. JCC is under rated and does have good potential. One of his haters are the *****s. *****s hate him much because, he's one of those who can claim that an undefeated record can be attained not only by Floyd.

JCC Jr might be good but at this time he isn't ready for Martinez. Probably we will see in this fight if he can fight Martinez next year.

Let's be more REAL-LISTIC, in this particular match-up it may be that Chavez is being a combo of underrated/over-hated and Rubio is being a bit overrated. Rubio is another Manfredo-level opponent. He's certainly not a top tier fighter but in this case he doesn't have to be. How impressive was he against Pavlik? Maybe I missed something, huh?? Who has he defeated since then?? Lemieux?? SO WHAT?? Lemieux was/is an overrated hometown fighter that was actually whipping Rubio before the end came. The ONLY reason why Rubio is rated so high is basically ANOTHER way of WBC/Suliaman protecting Chavez Jr in the case that he has the "obligation" to defend against a top ranked fighter. A win over the mediocre Rubio will GUARANTEE Chavez jr ANOTHER year to stall before facing TRUE elite challenger. Suliaman PERSONALLY asked Sergio to 'step aside' once more. He probably was planning/hoping that Martinez would renounce/denounce him and tell the WBC to go screw themselves. It seems to have worked. Who's next??
