Of course there is a possibility, but IMO not very high.
Everything I know about Vitali would suggest he didn't (apart from earlier mentioned Olympic incident). I can't see any signs. Vitali's power is not unnatural, he didn't have any unnatural changes in his appearance. His performance (power, speed, endurance) was always about the same.

The chance is about the same as for any other boxer. You can speculate as far as you want and stick it to something that happened 20 years ago, but it won't go further from speculation and imagination.

There we go again... Do you have daily dose of insults you need to put here?! I mean it's totally unnecessary. The question is if there is any REAL possibility.

If that's the obvious question(answer) there wouldn't be a question with the poll at the first place.

So I think it is unlikely. There is nonzero possibility of course but as for any other living boxer.

And how exactly Vitali improved other than with an experience similar to any other fighter? His trajectory of improvement was very usual - I don't see any huge improvements in short periods of time across his career.

      • Vitali has already admitted he once used steroids he was given by a normal doctor, to help a leg injury.. he's never been a heavy juicer or anything and has no history of this since 1996. His whole pro career he's been clean whenever randomly tested.
So no, he's a clean athlete.

        • i think he is clan but remember passing a test doesn't mean you are clean. read angel heredia article on PED. tells how they all beat the test

          • IMO it's also a real possibility the entire top level at professionel boxing is juicing.

            • it's a strong possibility just like with marquez...you have a guy in their late 30s all of a sudden being much stronger and more explosive than he ever was in his prime and looking much more muscular than he ever has...it is very su****ious.

if vitali is somehow connected with angel heredia or some other known steroid dealer then it will definitely elevate the su****ion...

Not in the case of Vitali. Vitali was out of the game during his physical prime. He made a late comeback, but was not stronger or bigger physically than in his fighting prime around 2003-2004.
Vitali has never been connected with any su****ious doctor's, these kind of claims need evidence, otherwise they make no sense.

                  • commission did their jobs, proved he was steroid free his entire pro boxing career. hasnt used steroids since the mid 1990s and that was for an injury and a complete misunderstanding

                    • I've said this before. I think Vitali could be juicing and his bro too.
