There is no point for a Marquez Pac 4, only Floyd vs Pac

All I read was title..... no way the 4th fight should happen. Even if he DID win, JMM will NEVER get decision. Too much money at stake for a FM vs. MP dream match. Even if it never happens. they'll both stay undefeated regardless in the hopes/dreams of everyone that it will be made one dayComment

Marquez face after the fight says it all. He got butchered by Pac. That said..theres no need for 4th fight, because marquez lost to
a) an inexperienced, 1 handed pacquiao
b) a weight drained pacquiao
and c) got outboxed by pacquiao, who also left marquez face an absolute mess

the only thing left is for pac to KO marquez, but in my opinion, marquez has already received enough punishment from pac.
Floyd vs Pac is all that matters..Other fights just won't cut it.. He has to consider his wear and tear. While his arch nemesis is resting in jail and has been fighting once a year, pac is just being battle worn and when he is ready for the picking Floyd will show up to take advantage of him. Same as what happened to Marvin Haggler when he logged in a lot of hard fought battles and was very worn that's when sugar ray showed up..
Haggler already mentioned this to Pac. Pac should learn from history..Comment

Yup, good point.. that is why there is no other fight for pac but Floyd. There is abundance of cash to be made. There is legacy, intrigue and rivalry to the highest order. Too much money to be derailed. This is what will define pac's stellar career. His last performance to close out with a ****. No need for any other fight. Just a floyd fight. All I read was title..... no way the 4th fight should happen. Even if he DID win, JMM will NEVER get decision. Too much money at stake for a FM vs. MP dream match. Pac is first a fighter than a boxer. So he truly is at the stage of his career that he is getting shop worn. I really say he should conserve what's left of his youth and finish of in a blazing glory with Floyd.Last edited by Spoon23; 12-31-2011, 06:20 AM.Comment

Yes exciting fighters like Pac burn out fast, yet Floydies will say Pac is not shop worn and *******s are making excuses, even though they always use the Pacs opponents are shop worn when it suits them. Got to laugh or cry, i try laugh to deal with the contradictions.
Floyd is trying to get Pac to be shop worn, and himself still fresh. But then Floyd will self proclaim and floydies will claim floyd is so amazing he can take long layoffs and still come back without much visual signs of rustiness.Last edited by hugh grant; 12-31-2011, 06:49 AM.Comment

Yup, even if floyd is older his boxing style will keep him good for a few more competitive years unlike Pac's fighting style has made some battle worn bruises.. Pac's style as a fighter caused him a lot of hard trading exciting battles..Yes exciting fighters like Pac burn out fast, yet Floydies will say Pac is not shop worn and *******s are making excuses, even though they always use the Pacs opponents are shop worn when it suits them. As what Steward used to say, Pac's style of fighting will deteriorate as he gets older coz of his nature as a fighter who loves to slug it out.
Haggler new this, and has advice Pac to take it easy and just go for Floyd.Comment

Exactly, what makes more sense is a fight in june or july. wait for floyd to finish his time in jail and both of them can train in april to june then fight for there legacy. And give us fans the most anticipated fight in a long long time.To me, I as a boxing fan, am not interested AT ALL for PAC vs MARQ 4. I will not be hyped for it, let alone watch it on PPV. sorry but im not shedding out $60 just to see the same fight again.
If Pacquiao really wants to fight Mayweather, they can make it in June/July.
Arum said himself Pac needs an extra month or two to heal his eye properly, dont know why we listen to that ****, he aint a doctor.Comment

I want to see one last Pac-JMM fight. My gut-feel is the 4th could be the closure to the rivalry, that there will be a definitive win. I believe we saw in the 3rd everything Marquez got and it was his best chance of getting a win. In terms of preparation, strategy, conditioning and yes surprise! I think that's the best he can come in against Pac.
I don't want to make excuses for Pac but it's obvious he didn't come in as prepared as Marquez for the battle in terms of the above. Yes, Nacho out-strategized Roach and the latter didn't have a plan B. Remember, there was a lot of unknown factors coming into the 3rd bout---mostly on the side of Marquez (i.e. weight, age, strategy, etc.).
If Marquez created the blueprint and perfected the technique to neutralize the Pacman juggernaught, then I think Roach and Pac will come up with their own anti-counterpunching blueprint that will lead to a definite victory.
Nacho and JMM have shown their hand and it was the best they could. It's time for Roach and Pac to come up with the ace, if not, then it will be another close and controversial fight.

This makes no sense, you're talking about a potential 4th fight with Marquez like it's the 2nd fight. Roach and pacquiao have already had 2 times to make adjustments. Pacquiao was supposed to walk thru Marquez because he was supposed to be so much improved.I want to see one last Pac-JMM fight. Nope. Fights one and two JMM was more aggressive. As I said, there were unknown factors coming to the third fight including his experience in his first fight at welter. We all know Roach and Ariza thought Marquez will be going all-out in the first few rounds by packing more muscles and increasing his strength.
Of course we now know the reverse was true.Comment
