However, Freddie and Roger don't deserve any award this year. Robert Garcia or Virgil Hunter should win this year. Emanuel Steward is in contention as well but I think Dawson and Cotto leaving him affects his standing. Nacho Beristain is a decent choice as well but, Angulo-Kirkland took some of his shine. People mention Anne Wolfe but I think she's in the same boat as Danny Garcia, 1 fight shouldn't determine the whole year.

Roach vs Mayweather Sr.

Mayweather Sr. really bothers me. First, Mayweather Sr. is a crybaby. Second, Freddie Roach is a much better trainer, and Mayweather is obviously envious of Roach. Third, Sr. doesn't get recognized like he thinks he should because of Mayweather Jr's questionable reputation. The likeable difference between Pacquiao and Mayweather Jr. is like day and night. Same with the two trainers. Roach is a very likeable guy. That has a lot to do with giving rewards.
