You mean run in an enclosed square where his opponent should know how to box well enough to cut off the ring. Seemed like Dirrell was potshotting his behind all night too what fight were you watching? Dirrell needs to work on closing out fights better, he lets his guard down when he gets tired.

He needs more top-flight experience, the same thing that Bute is likely lacking.

I have said plenty of times, Cotto should thank Pac for the Margarito win. And, not only that I don't think Margarito cheated in the first fight either.

All these guys on here calling Dirrell this and that I would put money down that he beats Bute and quite easily people are so caught up in hating boxers they over look there skill. Like me I don't care for Pac as of now I think after cotto he has just been fighting guys with names but I will never say he's not a threat and can beat most guys at 147. Any guy who over look skills are idiots period.

Bute fought everybody available to him not involved in the SS!! He wasnt invited to the SS, so WTF was he suppose to do?

I find it strange, that 3 fighters (Johnson, Kessler, and Pavlik) all said that Bute "low balled them" as they put it. He just didn't come across as a fighter trying to make fights happen to build his credibility.

Secondly, he called Cloud out at a catchweight. Team Cloud accepted. Why did the fight fall through??

He definitely could've fought Cloud. I mean let's be honest. Team Bute called them out, just like he's doing with Froch right now.

Well Showtime who hosted the event made it pretty evident that they were going to match the winner of the tournament up with Bute.

And other then the Super Six fighters and Bute SMW division isnt the deepest one around.

Bute vs Cloud my friend. Bute vs Cloud and the other 3 guys Bute low balled (Pavlik, Kessler, and Johnson). We all know that he ended up fighting Johnson, but what's with all these guys saying Bute's low balling them. Are they just making it up?

Secondly, I don't recall hearing Showtime saying Bute would fight the winner of the SS. If they did, shame on them; that's absurd.

No, its been almost two years since hes been in the ring, and he fought two of the biggest punchers in the division. If he was "scared" he wouldnt of ever fought them... And if he was faking, he would of come back well before two years... Hes losing his prime years and paydays through all this.

Cotto should thank himself and his team for coming up with a good game plan and sticking to it.

Whether Margs eye got swollen shut or not, he wasnt landing the same consistency or power he was in the first fight.

Cotto was going to win that fight with or without that eye.

Pavlik drunk ass, cancel a fight in his hometown with 3 days to go and at the same time, he turn Bute down for 1.3 mills.

Kessler was ofered the fight(suppously 3.5 mills(this was pavliks reason to drop the 1.3mills offer)) and he turn it down to fight stieglitz

and about Cloud, don King wanted options on Bute and that killed it, the same happend with the proposed fight of Pascal vs Cloud Don King wanted options on Pascal

Other than that Bute fought everybody available!
