Timeline is off here. He shouldn't have fought Tito in 93. That's preposterous. Tito won his first title in June 93, a month after Chavez-Alli. Chavez was signed to fight Pea in September of that year. That was the biggest non-Heavyweight PPV of all time and THE fight in boxing. Part of the deal with the WBC was to make his mandatory versus Randall after Pea. There was no way in hell Tito-Chavez in 93 made a lick of sense, was mentioned by anyone, or even remotely considered. By late 94, maybe it could have happened but 95 was more realistic. By 95, Chavez wouldn't have stood a chance there.Comment
