How many top welterweights did Mayweather beat? No one at welterweight Mayweather fought would indicate he would stand a chance with any of the atg welters.

Floyd has never beaten a guy as big as srr
and probably never beaten anyone as good the combination of the two would give Floyd virtually no chance assuming srr had all the modern day advantages that Floyd enjoys.
De la Hoya wasn't as big as SRR?

You're missing my point completely dude. We have also seen the fighters that Mayweather has beaten live. How many of SRR's opponents did you see live?

I'm not missing your point, I'm making my own based on your original post. You said something along the lines of everyone here having only seen Robinson on YouTube as if it the videos don't accurately reflect his fighting abilities.

Nothing wrong with the new generation catching up and educating themselves on past greats through YouTube.

floyd would of gotten his ass beat by Cotto (hence the 6+ years of ducking and dodging) and you wanna do a fantasy match up against SRR???

Floyd would never of had the balls to even get in the ring with SRR.

Of course he has a chance, now how good of a chance no one can really say so people can say whatever they want.

I think it would bad style match-up in terms of being a decent fight because both guys want to do similar stuff and I think it would be ugly despite the high skill levels involved, if that happen who knows how the judges would see it~

Fair enough and I completely agree with you. It's very diffiicult to accurately assess an athlete that we never saw compete within the context of their own era. It's like saying Bart Starr was a better QB than Tom Brady (I never saw Starr play, although some people on this forum probably did).

this, SRR is a legend for his generation, but I'll take a technical gifted intelligent boxer like Floyd in this matchup

Why does SRR beat him from a technical or physical stand point ?

I don't know enough about SRR to judge but considering some of the post before yours it seems to be a Jordan v Kobe thing with you where nobody beats and inactive legend.

Correct me if I'm wrong.. also I don't know much about basketball so don't take the Jordan Kobe thing personal lol !!!
