Interesting theory that I would like to see, maybe it would sway my mind but I see Monzon putting a beating on Lamotta & maybe one of very few who would stop him, late mind but Monzon was one of those that carried his power exceptionally well & IMO would of have a field day with Jake.
Type of guy that loved to punish guys, especially brave guys like Lamotta.

Well it happens with every generation. They tend to regard things before their era in a higher pedestal for some reason lol. I mean past fighters were great too but we've have our own share of amazing fighters (pacquiao, etc etc). It happens in basketball as well and other sports. I think older generations are overrated BUT I do think they deserve praise just as our generation.
