      This is Mayweather-Judah-esque.

Dawson starts off good the first 4 or 5 rounds, and Ward starts to come on midway through, taking the rounds. 8-4 or 7-5 for Ward, winning by decision.

I would have to really sit down and think about this one.

At the moment, I'm leaning on a draw lol

The version of Dawson that beat Adamek would probably beat him, Dawson was a BEAST then. The Dawson that fought Pascal would get schooled, aka the Dawson that got away from his combo punching and high work rate.

I wouldn't even be surprised if Ward KO'd him, Dawson's chin isn't too good.

Both of these dudes are going to start fairly slow. Did you get Dawson mixed up with Pascal? Pascal is the one who comes out guns blazing then slows down. Going to be a close fight all around. But IF Dawson put his foot on the gas at anytime, it's a wrap. That's a big IF, but even if he has half a brain I think he's figured that out by now.

But for what it's worth I think Dirrell on his best night can beat both these guys.

That's exactly what I was thinking and is why I was stuck in the middle; leaning towards a draw.

Hey, I was just using Judah-Mayweather as a metaphor. Dawson-Ward isn't going to be the same.

Dawson doesn't have to start out fast, I'm just inclined to believe that Ward will not figure him out right away, and will get outboxed by Dawson for a while, whether it's fast paced or not.

And then he will settle down, take advantage on the inside with holding and punching, with some boxing from the outside, and start taking rounds.

Dawson doesn't have it in him to be a badass in the ring... Ward imposes his will on fighters. Dawson just lays back. Ward by clear UD.

Dawson by wide UD or even KO too big too strong and won't be out boxed by Ward.

You all make it seem like Ward is going to have a field day like he's had with the punching bags he's been facing his whole career. Dawson is slicker and more defensive-minded than any opponent he's fought. I'm ready to take bets on Dawson now.
