Scoring of MAYWEATHER fights by bogotazo

I just read through his original thread. I like how he's starting a discussion about analyzing what happens inside of a boxing ring, but his scoring of fights involving Mayweather aren't usual.

Zab winning 5 rounds in the first half or 6 rounds of the fight? Oscar winning 5 rounds in the first half or 6 rounds of the fight?

I'm not sure if he's picking up on everything that Mayweather does and what goes on inside of the squared circle, and really accounting for everything when he analyzes.

    Oscar won 3 (total).
Zab won probably 2 of the first four rounds.

That's pretty awful scoring to give either Oscar or Zab 5 of the first 6. I guess it's one of those things where he has seen Mayweather dominate so much that he thinks if Mayweather isn't dominating every second, then he must be losing.

Opps. I hit yes. I thought was implying did they win AT LEAST 5 rounds.

Wow, that's strange. I gave Zab rounds one, two and four (which was close). A case can be made for round eight too, if you feel bad for Zab. At best both he and Oscar won four rounds.

Even if you think that's what he meant, answering yes still makes no sense. You really think Oscar or Zab won 5 rounds against Floyd in their fights? You could maybe give Oscar 4, but that's pushing it.

I thought both fights were competitive but Floyd won them both pretty comfortably on my card. Judah jumped out fast but there's no way he won the first five rounds, and though Oscar had all of the advantages going into that fight he did as well against Floyd as one can expect, but he still lost. As to that new member I think somewhere in his analysis he's not getting how Floyd fights and what he does in the ring. I think because Floyd hasn't really been challenged folks think his style is easily predictable, but he does what he needs to, however he needs to to win each fight.

I haven't watched both fights in a while but I think I'll do that today while I have the time.

Claiming Oscar and Zab won 5 of the first 6 rounds in their fights with Mayweather is simply false.

There is no other way to describe it other than false.

I scored fight 115-113 or 116-112 for Floyd. Floyd was not as dominant against Oscar as everyone makes him out to be. Just like ive said 1000 times....everyone goes by compubox to justify Floyds win, but then turn around and say compubox dont tell the whole story and not accurate when comparing Khan-Peterson
