Should Ward fight Bute next

I agree....it sounds a little like some folks are worried about Ward's chances against Bute. I mean, why not give the guy a shot? If Ward is truly THAT good, then he'll blast Bute out of the water anyways.

Ohh man, I smell more easy points for myself, when Bute & Ward do face off, I'll take Ward for a few billions, what say you? Of course this may be all for naught because Froch beats that clown if they fight next!!

In a perfect world the answer is yes,but from a business stand point the answer is no..Bute has not fought anyone,while Ward has been fighting top class in the div fight after fight..I would let Bute fight Froch,Ward could fight Kessler or some other top contender..Or Ward could take a break and heal up..But Bute needs to step up already and fight Froch...

Wards broken hand is another thing not being taken into consideration by the TS. After fighting the best during this tournament Ward has earned the right to make sure his hand is healed completely and at 100% before taking on a fighter such as Bute. Besides that there is no harm in letting the fight build as neither are household names. Ward has beaten the best, we know he isn't going to lose. If Bute loses in a build up to the Ward fight than he was obviously never deserving to begin with.

I think Ward should fight Dirrell first (mandatory defense), then rematch Kessler (if he beats Stieglitz, Ward vs. Kessler will be for the WBO belt), and then fight Bute in 2013.
