I would be shocked if Peterson agrees to a rematch anywhere but DC.. Again if he agrees to it then he wouldnt get a decision outside of DC unless he KO's Khan which i think is highly possible.

The fight Before Peterson fought khan (victor cayo) he made $10,000, his last fight was $650,000 and now there's an offer of over $1Million. Good for him. Very likeable guy. He's not gonna make that against anyone else at 140.

This is so sad and is more of a tactical ploy by Golden Boy and Team Khan to strong arm and coerce Team Peterson into an immediate rematch by threatening a protest to strip Lamont Peterson of his titles. Amir should just move on and grow up, because his childish and peevish behavior, coupled with his lack of taking personal responsibility and blaming others for his own shortcomings in the ring; Which led to the loss, is a real turnoff to boxing fans. Likewise, if he's not careful, this could also lead to major backlash against him; Especially with the sanctioning and world governing bodies. In addition, given his persistent railing against the jurisdiction of the boxing rules and regulations of the sport by calling them crooked and corrupt, he is running the risk of permanently damaging his reputation and career too. Moreover, the very fact that he cannot accept responsibility and is blaming someone else for his own actions, without so much as giving Lamont Peterson credit for his very brave and spirited performance against him is what I find to be the most troubling and repugnant of all. On the other hand, I thought Lamont Peterson had handled himself with both class, dignity and grace, when Oscar and Team Khan were complaining about the officiating and calling for an immediate rematch. He'd agreed in principle,to grant it to them but now I'm not so sure he will; Because judging by their conduct, I personally don't think they deserve one. Lamont and his team owes Amir Khan nothing. All Peterson did was go in, took care of his business, while fighting the fight of his life and as a result was victorious. Khan made the mistake of underestimating him and paid dearly for it. However, that is on him. Therefore, the case is closed.

Highly doubt it if it's not an immediate rematch I see khan moving up unless the Bradley fights on the table

If Peterson does agree to a rematch,I just hope he changes the venue..I smell the fix being put in if the fight takes place in LA...

I agree 101%. It wouldn't have been so bad had they not complained and screamed foul about the decision. LA is GBP's backyard and u can expect that there will be some get back, the fix will be in. Peterson should insist that the rematch be on the eastcoast.

No wonder they call him Amir Con...the dude constantly call for a rematch with Peterson but when it comes to Maidana he acts like there's no need for a rematch. If you feel like Maidana doesn't deserve a rematch with you than shut-up with the rematch with Peterson.

I couldn't agree with you more, Amir needs to give Maidana a rematch and then bring his behind back to the table with Peterson. But lets not Pretend where the money is for Lamont, if he made 650K with Khan he'd more than likely make more than that for the rematch he doesn't have to pull some dumb Winky Wright manuver where he demands for than he's worth.
