Quite being a moron and speaking so generally. I am Mexican and was rooting for Cotto. Further, I don't think Jr. is good he is at most decent and I say that with hesitation. But Canelo is good, not great, but a solid fighter. If you fail to see that or give him his due, that is on you. Yes, he is protected but that is not his fault. He fights who GBP puts in front of him. I would be surprised if he doesn't eventually face Kirkland sometime next year. The kid fought a bunch of times in 2011. Maybe Shane is a tune-up and huge pay check for Canelo before KO'ing glass joe Kirkland?

The most protected Mexincan fighter. I am not saying he is bad, but after 3456 fights he should step up the competition.

He's 21, he's not the finished article by a long way, let him grow. This kid is going to be around for another 15 years.

If the fight with Mosley does go down it isn't going to be on PPV. Canelo is not a big enough name in the US yet. He can have as many optional defenses as he wants until June 2012. Canelo already faced his mandatory, Chavez hasn't.

He needs to learn to speak English, a 24/7 with Canelo would be great, he has massive potential.
