Wow, just like a hypejob that he is. Man the **** up and face the winner of Kirkland vs. Molina. Kirkland already destroyed Angulo, twice the fighter this chump will ever be. Canelo having a belt around his waist is a joke, but then again look who he beat up on the streets, a 108 pound fighter.

I've been holding out for him to fight Kirkland or Cotto or somebody that is a real test. Though I'm not 100% on Kirkland either so maybe he wouldn't be that much of a test.
On the other hand if Canelo wins (which is what'll probably happen) he'll gain credibility with the casuals which equals money for all concerned which is what this crap is about.Whaddayagonnado?
Also, it's not inconceivable to me that Shane could beat Kirkland. What if that happened? Maybe Kirkland should try to get Mosley as well?
At any rate within the next year or two we're gonna' find out about Canelo and Kirkland and JCCjr as well. I kind of like all 3 of them and would be happy if at least one of them turned out to be the goods.
And we'll still all be here griping (with good reason) about the ****ed up matchmaking in boxing.

Kirkland is an easier fight for Canelo but it will add to his legitimacy more.
Canelo KO's Kirkland in 3.
Canelo stops Shane in 9.

Or maybe we can make a Canelo vs Mosley fight on PPV and show the public some old highlights from 2009 when Shane beat Margarito. Maybe the public will forget about his performance against Mora at 154.
While we're at it, how about Canelo fight Freddie Hernandez at 154 for the title. I mean let's be real, Hernandez does have a victory over Anchondo.. Can you imagine what that will do for PPV?
You guys are unreal.

Probably won't happen. So bring on Mosley to see how he looks againt him. A kirkland fight would be good but let these guys win a couple more fights each and build the matchup up first before they fight. It would be dumb buisness to have them fight right now. A Alvarez-Kirkland fight at end of year or early 2013 would be much bigger fight.
That's the problem. We, as fans, should want to see the best fight available. Not the best business fight lol If that's the case, Canelo should be calling out DLH or someone. I'd bet you'd love that fight.
Get real with the whole, it's ok for Canelo to fight Mosley because this is a business. Fact of the matter is Kirkland has "Earned" his shot with a capital E. To give the title shot to Mosley who hasn't done anything in the last 2 years is flat out ******. The same applies for fans that advocate that type of willing and dealing.
FYI... I'd rather take my chances in seeing Canelo fight Kirkland because I know Canelo would have a strong fighter in front of him; not Mosley where I'll have to hope and pray he pulls a "Bernard Hopkins" in order to see a good fight. Come on man.Last edited by BoxingGenius27; 12-21-2011, 08:55 AM.
