many euro fighter stay over there and fight nobodys the best figter rigt now are mexican pr etc..Originally posted by myunksafiedLet's be honest now - European fighters are better than Americans, they just dont get the chance to prove it. Like it or not, the two Klitschkos are the best heavyweights in the world (dont make me laugh about retirement, Vitali will be back before the end of next year). Zsolt Erdei is the linear champion (check the lineage - Roy Jones was never proper champ cos he never fought Michalchewski) at light heavy. All four major belt holders are European as well.Calzaghe is the man at Super Middle, middleweight - fair enough, its one of two yanks for that title. Light middle? Ricardo Mayorga. OK maybe hes not European but he's not American. Welter? Zab Judah fair enough. Light welter? Ricky Hatton, a fighter so good it makes Americans sick to their stomachs. He could beat God in the ring and you'd still all moan that he's a dirty fighter and not taking hard fights - Roberto Duran was a dirty fighter and I dont hear you moaning about him! Lightweight is Castillo, well Mexicans are mostly all Spanish aint they ha ha. He's definitely not American though. Super feather? Barrera. Feather? Mexican, but Scott Harrison is European and is coming up. It goes on and on. The only reason Americans appear dominant is because they have promoters that can get them into positions to fight for titles. Face it, Americans are in third after Mexicans and Europeans.Comment

actually figthign hatton or calzaghe in their hometowns where they are hero's would be a big pay day for people like mayweather or lacy who dont sell as many tickets here as hatton and calzaghe do in Europe, that being said:Originally posted by mystyal2k5the american fighters got gotta go no where there where the money is in the united states and its the the country that boxing is now known for. those brits and ppl like that need to come here instead of being lil *******. what r the americans gonna get for going over there? nothin at all
The US is the house of world boxing, here is where all the fights happen, where figthers are made into icons, where any day, a simple man can become a legend.

I say this a lot. It's an individual sport. X fighter cares about being champ and being paid reasonably well for this dangerous sport. No country will pay for his medical expenses or his unpaid bills for free.Originally posted by myunksafiedIt doesnt matter where fighters are from, the fighter defines himself not where he's from.Comment

This is by far the dumbest post that I think i have seen someone dare to post. Are you crazy? The better boxers by far come from USA. But the best boxers in the world come from the latin countries. Particularly Puerto RIco and Mexico. There is a report on the web that states "Puerto Rico produces the best fighters and Champions in the world per capita." I would have to agree with that. Such a small island, yet so many champs. Who does Europe have besides Hatton............I'm waiting? America has produced champs like, SRLeonard, DelaHoya, SRRobinson, Ali, Foreman, Louis, Tyson, Judah, RJJ, Frazier, Dempsey etc, etc.Originally posted by myunksafiedLet's be honest now - European fighters are better than Americans, they just dont get the chance to prove it. Oh and your Klitchko Brothers are not the best in the world, they are at the top of the worst heavyweight division in the history of boxing. Oh and they are *******, Vitali is a quiter, and Wladmir has the softest chin in professional boxing.
COnclusion: European boxers are not 1st 2nd 3rd or 4th, Puerto Rico, Mexico, USA, other Latin American countries, then finally Europe.Comment
