Why Is Sergio Martinez Calling Out Little Guys?

Sergio Martinez knocked Paul Williams out cold. COOL! remember when Pwill was fighting at 147 and thoughts of him being the destroyer of them little guys and will never be beaten? then wabam he fought a guy his size and got KTFO! so this puto Sergio keeps calling out them little cats but he's around 160lbs right? or i may be wrong but whatever. why wont he fight them big guys his size? i mean after PWILL what did he do next?

them little cats either fought at 154 or fought for a belt there at a catchweight. martinez said he can make 150 like margarito with his catchweight against pac. he also showed in his last fight that he can weigh 165 on fight night just like margarito did. and since defeating williams he hasn't been able to land a fight with the biggest name at 154 (cotto) or even at 160 (chavez jr). but he's been fighting middleweights (160) like himself. dzinziruk was a champ at 154 but moving up he was basically the same size as martinez, both came in at the scales at 158 1/2 lbs. and he's about to face macklin, another legit MW. what has pacquiao done, since i'm assuming you're a fan of the little cat. fought a 38 year old lightweight at WW where he got outboxed.

        ^this..

why does this topic get brought up all the time and why do people like to play dumb and ask it daily. To the TS, are you honestly saying you cant work out why Sergio is calling out Floyd and Manny, who happen to be the cash cows?

Martinez is looking for a pay day & I'm a fan of his, if he's claiming he can make 150lb's, he should leave his dead division & fight the big names at JMW, good money there as well.

if that's the case then why can't he call out froch, abraham, ward, johnson, etc and ask for a catchweight?

if he goes down to 150lbs then he's just another weight drained that pacquiao or floyd fought right? no win win situation for those little guys am i right?

by the way isn't pirog on his division? why duckin?

floyd ran from pwilliams like hes never ran before

paul williams would have destroyed fakeweather

martinez is overratted but a good fighter

mayweather dont want none of that- he wants an easy payday

when was the last time he fought a real threat?

I'll ask then then....when was the last time Martinez was obviously the bigger, heavier, or taller fighter in one of his fights?

P Williams had fought guys "his size" prior to getting KTFO; in fact, he fought Martinez himself in a great fight a year prior.

Martinez doesn't exactly fight at 160 himself, at least he hasn't in the last 3 years maybe. I get what you're saying, but if Sergio is really just calling out the top TWO guys in Pac and Floyd, that shouldn't be looking at Martinez picking on them. A lot of people think Floyd and Pac are so far ahead of their competition that they need to actually make a fight where they wouldn't be the huge favorite going where the outcome of the fight is truly up in the air.

Sturm, Gaeale, and Chavez are all bigger guys in his division that have refused a fight with him. All top 5 guys. Now there's Macklin who he's about to fight in March.

He said he'd be cool with a 164 catchweight, but nobody has expressed any interest. The 168 division is loaded enough not to need Martinez.

Why do people think Sergio is a big guy? He's the one smallest MWs in the division.
