Prime bhop could do everything ward can do plus more (he was a bit faster and had more power).

Ward kinda fights like the older version of bhop (as far as styles go), whereas a prime bhop did it all.

at middleweight hopkins was clearly faster than ward. Watch the trinidad fight for example and tell me ward's hands are as fast as bhops were. no way man. hopkins had underrated handspeed.

here is just one example. go to 8:01 of this video and watch how fast (and powerful) hopkins throws that right hand that ko's tito. I've never seen ward throw anything like that

Underrated hand speed...yes definitely. Quicker than Ward?...No not for me.

By no means slow, but I think Ward still has the edge in hand speed.
