Ortiz is cool and I like the guy, and I’d welcome this fight, but at the same time...Martinez is like 36, 37, whatever he is…to get down to 150 would be difficult, even threatening to his performance during the fight. I wouldn’t mind the fight, I’d love the fight, but I’d prefer Vic continue to build his name in the welterweight division. If Martinez is adamant about coming down some, fight Lara. That’s a very good fight.

Ortiz aint a small guy so he can make atleast 152 or 153 so Martinez doesnt have to drop as low. On the other hand Martinez wont fight at 168 so why should anybody make a catch weight with him!!!! Personally I think there should be no catch weights period. Just make the weight or be below it and fight goes on with contracts signed!!!!!
