He lost that way to Ward who was using one hand. The only reason Ward appeared to fade in the second half was because of the hand problem otherwise he's a class act.

.......and that one hand was HIS LEFT HAND

it is a fact that Ward was injured, but he won the fight using the injured hand, he didn't use the right hand much

maybe it only affected his work rate and power input...

It doesn't matter what tactics Froch tried to use, he'd still lose.

Ward is just a superior fighter to him.

Even if Froch were to learn the tactics to deal with Ward, it would take some time, not something he could just learn in a short period.

Froch landed good rabbit punches behind the head. I thought those punches hurt Ward.

I like Froch, I really do...But at his age and as long as he's been fighting and fighting the way he has, the chances of him being able to make huge tactical adjustments like he would need to do, are just highly doubtful. Ward was just so composed in there, I'd never seen him that relaxed before, and he rarely used foot movement, he stood right in front of Froch, and used subtle upper body movement that threw Froch off tremendously, Ward looked like he was there to be hit, but he really wasn't. Ward is really starting to develop fully now.
