Wlad is also not fighting guys on the same skill level as Carl Froch and Arthur Abraham and he also has a huge size advantage. Maybe the reason why he has to be safety first is the guys he fights are some of the best in the world and the guys Wlad fights are the bums of the month. Heavyweight division is clearly not the SMW division.

This is not meant to knock Andre Ward, he has a very effective style.

Its just, lets be honest, this guy has ZERO punching power. Ward's entire game is 12round, holding, clinching, potshotting, and dirty infighting.

Thats this guy's whole style.

Like Ward will never be popular because his fights are not fun. He is hands down the most boring fighter in boxing.

Even Mayweather's fights are more entertaining than Wards.

He did a good job last night but I can't stand that stuff when he puts his head in the guy's chest and basically rubs it into the other guy's chin and face, in a grinding fashion- that reeks of dirtiness. There is no need for him to resort to those tactics yet he does it pus the grabbing of the arms all the time....he needs to stop that stuff. You could see that Froch was pissed at him constantly holding his arms so he couldn't do anything.

On the contrary, Wladimir Klitschko routinely gives good KOs (ie Chambers KO'd unconscious, impressive TKO of Chagaev, Brock KO, Peter KO).

KO's are exciting and can save a fight even if its been boring up to that point.

Wlad also lands bigger shots than Ward and his fights are funner.

Ward NEVER gets any KOs. Ward just holds, infights, potshots for 12rds and thats it. ZERO KO's & lots of dirty infighting = BORING.

THOSE ARE TWO FIGHTS WHERE HE SHOULD HAVE WON BY KO.

Miranda was KTFO early by Bute, and Green sucks, got KO'd by Johnson and never did anything in his career to begin with.

Ward really should have scored a KO VS Miranda or Green but he couldnt do it.

Damn. Some of you will find any reason to cry about a guy. It's pathetic. Ward dominates guys. There's nothing boring about that. So some of his fights don't end in knockouts? Cry me a river.

And comparing Ward to Wlad according to KO% is the dumbest thing I've ever heard. The level of competition isn't even in the same area code.

Call me crazy, but I'd rather watch Ward consistently break a guy down over the course of a 12 round fight, than watch Wlad do nothing for 8 rounds, only to wake up to find he KO'd the guy in the 9th.

Ward goes into fights and makes elite competition look like bums.
That's exiting to me. I was on the edge of my seat wondering how long he could keep schooling Froch until the end of the fight.
