Golden Boy and Team Khan have really messed up now. I am so happy that they have burned their bridges. Amir's only option now is to move up to 147, as he had originally planned in hopes of challenging Mayweather. Seriously, there's no need for him to stick around at 140 at this time because an imminent rematch with Peterson (who was the mandatory challenger) seems highly unlikely at this point. Also, I thought it was very foolhardy on Golden Boy's part to file a protest against Lamont; Especially in light of the fact, that he had already agreed in principle to grant him the immediate rematch. Amir Khan will never get a rematch now since he tried to get Lamont Peterson's titles stripped from him.

What if Khan can't get a rematch now? Is he gonna still go after Mayweather? He may be more interesting to Mayweather now after a loss or maybe not. He is in a tough spot

The fact he had the audacity to appeal is just ridiculous.

He must be out of mind to think that decision would get changed.

Thought it was once a year for mandos
Now if it's feasible or not idk just an idea

1 year is for mandos yes. but they have to put their title on the line every 6m, voluntary defense against a top 15 ranked guy by the respective body.
i'm not sure if WBA super title follows the same rules, but it's a title usually given to unified champs anyway.

Actually, if you don't mind, I have edited your post a tiny bit to make it read more realistic.

Plus, what Ray* said in his last post here before this.

how does khan offer peterson 1mil?"so he can keep all the rest of the money". the purses switch after that ass whoopping or peterson should move on regardless of what he makes against someone else.khan priced peterson out the first time.and now the soar losing amateur fighting sissy wont price peterson in.

I think Peterson could have got the nod in NY,but Vegas is another story...
